  • Patent number: 7744800
Abstract: Method and apparatus for controlling the stacking height of stackable products during compression molding off stops includes slides that are movable into and out of an end of blind pockets in a compression mold in which the stack height surfaces are formed during the molding cycle. The slides are held in a retracted position until after the mold is closed and the molding compound flows to the shape of the molding cavity inside the mold including the blind pockets. Then the slides are extended into the ends of the respective blind pockets the same distance to compress the molding compound and obtain the desired height of the stack height surfaces formed by the blind pockets.

  • Publication number: 20100015392
Abstract: A preformed pallet is provided having first and second outer layers that sandwich a cellular or honeycomb shaped core. The peripheral edge of the preformed pallet may be inserted into the molding device having one or more heating elements, which function to focus heat onto the peripheral edge. Once heated, the peripheral edge of the preformed pallet may be reshaped by one or more die sets forming the peripheral edge into an enclosed pallet.

  • Publication number: 20090139647
Abstract: A preformed laminate is provided having first and second outer layers that sandwich a cellular or honeycomb shaped core. The peripheral edge of the preformed laminate may be inserted into the heating apparatus having one or more heating elements surrounded by a reflective back panel and one or more heat shields, which function to focus heat onto the peripheral edge. Once heated, the peripheral edge of the preformed laminate may then be inserted into a molding press having one or more adjustable pinch rails for forming the peripheral edge of the laminate into an enclosed pallet.

  • Patent number: 5819685
Abstract: A tray suitable for use in mass raising insect larva, particularly flys (flies), in and artificial environment from incubation through hatching and growth and including a smooth bottom and four upwardly extending sides being open about fifty percent (50%) of the total height to provide sufficient ventilation to maintain a predetermined temperature to satisfy the developing process. The trays are stackable and have ribs at their corners to provide structural strength.

  • Patent number: 4619368
Abstract: A rack for printed circuit boards is disclosed. The rack has a first wall with a circuit board engaging surface and a second wall with a circuit board engaging surface disposed generally perpendicular to one another. The two surfaces are rigidly fixed together at right angles to each other and the board engaging surfaces are fixed to and supported by a first lateral flange and a second lateral flange. The first board engaging surface has ribs at the side edges for engaging the edges of boards and a recess is formed between the two board engaging surfaces which receives projections on the boards, debris, liquids or other foreign material. For manual handling and quick access to boards, the rack can be used alone on a desk top or the like wherein bottom board edges rest at an acute angle to the desk surface. For mechanical handling and shipment of boards, the rack can be used in opposed pairs adjustably connected and within a container wherein bottom board edges rest parallel to support surface.
