    Abstract: The accessory apparatus is used in conjunction with the vehicle for backfilling a trench. The accessory has a frame with first and second ends. Wheels are rotatably mounted to the first and second ends of the frame, with the wheels being structured and arranged to bear on ground beneath the frame. An auger is rotatably mounted to the ends of the frame. The auger has a shaft with flighting extending outward therefrom. The shaft is horizontal when the apparatus is in use. The auger has a height that is relative to the ground. A motor is coupled to one end of the frame, the motor causing the auger to rotate. A mounting bracket is pivotally coupled to the frame. The mounting bracket is structured and arranged to mount to the vehicle. As the frame pivots with respect to the mounting bracket, the height of the auger is raised or lowered relative to the ground. The mounting bracket can be pivotally coupled by a single set of pins, wherein a screw jack is used to pivot the frame relative to the mounting bracket.

    Abstract: A proximity detection device for protection of personnel against exposure to hazardous radio frequency radiation. The device works by detecting the presence of people, either the operator or bystanders, who are in the system antenna's radio frequency radiation hazard zone. Upon detection, the device triggers a timer that delays the activation of alarm circuitry for a brief period of time. This time delay is instituted to minimize the triggering of nuisance alarms by a momentary intrusion in the hazard zone. If a presence is still detected after the delay time, pulsing visual and audible alarms are triggered to alert the system operator of the dangerous situation. The alarms remain activated for a timed period, allowing the operator to clear the hazard zone.

    Abstract: An access control system which uses a password token scheme for controlling user access to data within computer systems. The key component in the access control system is an optical token card that is capable of receiving optically encoded information directly from the CRT display of a standard personal computer and processing the information for use in identification and authentication procedures, cryptographic key management schemes, and administrative procedures such as maintaining audit trails. This design permits the use of much longer strings of challenge input data without the addition of peripheral readers to the system.

    Abstract: The invention includes a frame, to which is mounted a handle, an engine, drive wheels and an auger. The engine drives the drive wheels, making the apparatus self-propelled and also rotates the auger. Control levers are located on the handle to selectively control the on-off engagement of the drive wheels and the auger to the engine and to control the speed of the drive wheels. As the apparatus propels itself along a trench, the rotating auger moves dirt from the sides of the ground around the trench to inside of the trench. A packer wheel on the handle packs the dirt in the filled trench. The height of the auger relative to the ground is adjustable so as to minimize lawn damage. The auger has a double row of flighting and guide wheels positioned adjacent to the auger to enable the apparatus to be easily steered.
