  • Patent number: 5333967
Abstract: Heptane has been found to be an effective and efficient solvent for pressure sensitive adhesives, and to be useful with an applicator for removing stickers, labels, tags, decals, etc. from substrates of paper, plastic, tile, leather, etc. applicator is used with a container holding a supply of solvent, preferably but not necessarily heptane, integrated with a spatulate-like tool extending from the applicator and beneath and beyond an opening in the container for receiving solvent from the container and applying the solvent to adhesive beneath a sticker to neutralize the adhesive preparatory to the tool being moved beneath the loosened sticker to remove it from the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4982968
Abstract: A "safety" game dart for use with a dart board having plural projecting dart-receiving fingers, includes an elongate dart body with plural guide wings at one end and a blunt non-metal tip at the opposite end. The tip is formed of an elastomer, e.g. rubber, to be compressibly resilient for compression fitting into a mounting recess in the dart body and to compress upon impact to minimize possible injury or damage to persons or objects accidentally struck by the dart. Each wing includes a laterally projecting planar main guide portion coplanar with the elongate extent of the dart body and an angularly oriented planar tail portion transverse with respect to the dart body, to induce rotation of the dart during flight.

  • Patent number: 4054120
Abstract: A blow gun and projectile combination for use in connection with targets which provide safety, enjoyment, and fun without being hazardous. The blow guns are accurate with the projectiles used, and the projectiles are extremely lightweight and do not have sufficient mass to cause injury if fired so that they strike a person. In addition, the blow gun includes mouthpiece indentations. These indentations cooperate with a disc located on the forward end of each projectile to prevent the projectiles from being inhaled through the mouthpiece by a user of the blow gun.

  • Patent number: 4022473
Abstract: A game apparatus for playing matching games involving colored pegs wherein two players, one on each of the sides of the apparatus will select four pegs of color and place them in a particular sequence unknown to his opponent. A game board provided has apertures for receiving pegs in horizontal rows so that each player can mark on the game board the peg color and sequence arrangement he guesses to be the arrangement selected by his opponent. The game board then is rotated 180.degree. and each player checks his opponent's lineup of pegs and indicates on the board with additional marking pegs whether the opponent matched the player's colors and/or mated the position of the player's pegs. The board is then rotated 180.degree. again and each player again attempts to deduce or guess the opponent's colors and mate the order of colors on a different line of apertures. Play continues until one player matches both the colors and the order of colors of his opponent.
