  • Publication number: 20110123284
Abstract: An improved reamer tool is described that has lower torque requirements, despite having more blades. Because of the lower torque requirements, the reamer can be used with a handheld drill. The reamer uses fewer cutting edges and has blades that do not extend into the material of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 7556225
Abstract: A bracket for supporting electrical nonmetallic tubing has axially aligned large and small spring clips for receiving and retaining large and small diameter tubing. A plurality of side-by-side pairs of the spring clips are arranged with the large and small spring clips in one pair reversely positioned relative to the large and small spring clips in an adjacent pair. Some clips are configured for attaching ties thereto that extend over a tube to hold the tube in the clip. The bracket has support legs for engaging a support surface, and fastener receiving extensions for attaching the bracket to the support surface.

  • Patent number: 7432440
Abstract: An electrical box having spring legs for supporting the box within a space between a pair of spaced-apart parallel concrete forms. The legs engage the inside surface of one form and bias the open end of the box against the inside surface of the other form. The legs and the bottom of the box are cooperatively configured to facilitate attachment of the legs to the box. A bendable strap is attached to the box for wrapping around reinforcing bars within the forms. The legs and strap hold the box in position when concrete is poured into the space between the forms. The entire box and support elements remain embedded within the finished concrete wall, and with the open end of the box exposed at an outer surface of the concrete wall.

  • Patent number: 7387288
Abstract: A fitting for attaching ENT tubing to a concrete form has an inverted cup-like configuration with a bottom opening and an internal cavity within a fitting wall. A flange extends outwardly from the fitting wall around the bottom opening and has fastener-receiving holes for attaching the fitting to a plane surface of a concrete form. A socket extends through the fitting wall into the cavity for receiving an end portion of an ENT tube. The socket has a plurality of circumferentially-spaced resilient fingers that are inclined inwardly toward the socket axis for gripping an ENT tube. A pair of opposite fingers have teeth that are receivable in an annular groove in an end portion of a corrugated ENT tube. The teeth have rounded ends to facilitate ratcheting movement of the ENT tube end portion both into and out of the socket.

  • Patent number: 7186913
Abstract: A square electrical box molded in one-piece of plastic material has three ENT connectors extending outwardly from each box sidewall. The connectors on each sidewall include a middle connector and two outer connectors. All of the middle connectors are sized for receiving one-half inch standard trade size ENT conduit. Both of the outer connectors one pair of opposite sidewalls are sized for receiving three-quarter inch standard trade size ENT conduit. The other pair of opposite sidewalls have one outer connector sized to receive three-quarter inch standard trade size ENT conduit and another outer connector sized to receive one-inch standard trade size ENT conduit. The box has attachment ears extending outwardly from the box corners along diagonal lines that extend across diagonally opposite ones of the box corners. An adapter attached to a front surface of the box has attachment ears aligned with the box ears.

  • Patent number: 7186915
Abstract: A square electrical box molded in one-piece of plastic material has three connectors extending outwardly from each box sidewall for receiving different sizes of electrical nonmetallic tubing. The box internal corners are occupied by bosses that extend the full height of the corners and have fastener receiving holes therein. Attachment ears extend outwardly from the box, and an adapter attachable to a front surface of the box has attachment ears aligned with the box ears. Fastener receiving holes through the ears are configured to receive fasteners that are inwardly inclined toward the box central longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 6739630
Abstract: A coupling member has an internally threaded end portion and an opposite socket end portion with a pair of axially-spaced internal circumferential grooves. The internally threaded end portion receives an externally threaded end portion on a pipe, while the opposite socket end portion receives an end portion of another pipe that has an external circumferential groove aligned with one of the pair of internal grooves. A spline is inserted into the aligned grooves through a transverse hole in the wall of the opposite end portion of the coupling member to hold the coupling member and the other pipe against relative axial movement. The spline is a wire rope to provide high shear strength.
