  • Patent number: 11941145
Abstract: A method includes sequentially generating fragment records for a user device according to fragment generation rules specifying that each subsequent fragment record be generated for user device events that occur within a defined period of time. Each fragment record includes event data for a series of user device events and includes a fragment ID generated using a non-deterministic ID generation algorithm. The method includes generating an ID-fragment record associating a chain ID with the fragment IDs. The chain ID is associated with device IDs that identify the user device. The method includes removing associations between the chain ID and fragment IDs according to removal parameters indicating that associations be removed based on an age of the fragment records. The method includes generating at least one of search results and advertisements for the user device based on the event data in the fragment records that remain associated with the chain ID.

  • Patent number: 5947443
Abstract: A gas distribution valve including a body defining an inlet and an outlet passage, a central well containing a cylindrical plug disposed for arcuate displacement therein and including a transverse thru-bore that can be rotated into and out of axial alignment with the flow passages of said body for opening and closing the valve respectively. Overmolded elastomeric seat seals are provided for superior sealing that are urged against the well walls by an arcuate leaf spring intervening between the seals and the plug and extending in a direction concentric with the plug. A cover plate secures the plug within in the well and there is afforded a fire seal ring providing bi-directional contact sealing operative to restrict gas flow during and after exposure to fire or other high temperature environment.

  • Patent number: 5944991
Abstract: A pipeline strainer having a body defining a rectilinear flow passage between an inlet and an outlet and a cylindrical cavity centrally located therebetween. A removable cover of cup-like configuration is secured in a sealed relation to the body subtending the body cavity in which a dual layered strainer assembly is supported in the flow passage in a sealed relation between an interior surface of the cover and an interior surface of the cavity.

  • Patent number: 5207459
Abstract: A transition coupling for connecting a plastic natural gas supply pipe to a metal service pipe is comprised of substantially plastic components including a tubular non-metallic body and a non-metallic or plastic nut. A plastic nut is threadably connected to the body one at each end thereof for independently compressing seals within the body against the two pipes and separately gripping against the pipes to hold the pipes within the body. At one end of the coupling, a plastic gripper is wedged by the plastic nut to embed in the plastic pipe to anchor the plastic pipe in the coupling. At the other end of the coupling, a metallic gripper is used in conjunction with the other plastic nut to be wedged against and embed in the outside surface of the metal pipe. The metallic gripper is comprised of two segments, the outer surfaces of which are shaped to keep from embedding in the inside surface of the plastic nut and causing the nut to bind on the metallic gripper.

  • Patent number: 4168089
Abstract: Mating halves of plastic composition form a tapping sleeve service connector for mounting a branch connection on an inservice plastic gas main. A tapping tool supported in communication with the branch outlet is provided in one of the sleeve halves. Emplaced lining the internal pipe gripping surfaces of the sleeve halves is a dual faced, open mesh, basket woven fabric containing a random distribution of particle abrasive bonded on each of the faces. The particle abrasive is of a relatively harder composition than the plastics of either the service connector or gas main to effectively penetrate or imbed in the opposed surfaces of each when the sleeve halves are assembled in place. By being imbedded in this manner the abrasive fabric acts to secure and prevent relative rotational slippage between the service connector and pipe on which it is mounted.
