  • Patent number: 7588522
Abstract: A resilient exercising ball is confined within a frame which defines a space around the ball so that the ball has limited universal movement. The ball may be normally centered within the frame by elastic cords having end portions attached to the frame or by a bottom panel attached to the frame. The ball stretches the cords until the ball contacts a floor surface or a flexible bottom panel connected to the frame, and the ball rolls horizontally within the space in response to movement of the person's body. The frame may be in the form of rigid tubular sections forming arm rests or in a circular configuration with a flexible ball support pad connected to the frame by elastic cords. The frame may also have a V-shaped configuration or may have tubular sections connected by socket couplings or by interfitting end portions.

Abstract: A resilient exercising ball is confined within a frame which defines a space around the ball so that the ball has limited universal movement. The ball is normally centered within the frame by elastic members or cords having end portions attached to the frame. The ball stretches the cords until the ball is supported by a base surface or floor, and the ball rolls horizontally within the space in response to movement of the person's body. The frame may be in the form of a rigid tubular chair with arm rests or in a circular configuration with a flexible ball support pad connected to the frame by elastic cords. The frame may also have a V-shaped configuration and be formed by releasably connected tubular sections having interfitting end portions.

  • Patent number: 7156322
Abstract: An irrigation sprinkler unit includes a tubular housing enclosing a speed reducing drive which is driven by a water actuated turbine wheel and rotates a rotary nozzle head at a substantially slower speed. The drive also rotates a tubular valve member within an annular valve body within the housing, and the valve member and valve body have cooperating radial ports which automatically and continuously vary the flow rate of water through the housing for continuously varying the radial distance of a water stream discharged from the nozzle head.

  • Patent number: 6527204
Abstract: A shower head includes a housing supporting a low speed rotary valve member driven by a high speed rotary turbine to produce a variable flow rate. The turbine also produces pulsations of water streams discharged from the housing and is shifted axially to produce continuous water streams. A manually actuated control valve and passages with pressure responsive flow control washers provide for selecting different ranges of variable flow or for bypassing the variable flow.

  • Patent number: 6223998
Abstract: A shower head assembly includes a housing enclosing a rotary valve member driven by a water activated motor. A rotatable tubular valve member surrounds the housing and has an internal cartridge with circumferentially spaced internal passages for selectively directing continuous flow water or cycling flow water directly to nozzle orifices or to radially inner or outer sets of drive jets for a water pulsating turbine wheel. The spray discharge orifices may be adjusted by a control ring which cooperates with the valve member to provide for selecting various spray functions including 1) a normal continuous spray, 2) a fast or slow pulsating spray, 3) a cycling flow rate spray with fast or slow pulsation, 4) a cycling flow rate spray with no pulsation and 5) a discharge spray variable between narrow and wide spray patterns.

  • Patent number: 5577664
Abstract: A shower head includes a housing enclosing a first rotary valve member driven by a turbine wheel and gear reducer for cycling the flow rate through the housing between high and low flow rates, and a manually rotatable cross valve shaft provides for selecting the degree of cycling. A second rotary valve member is combined with a second turbine wheel for pulsating the cycling flow rate, and further rotation of the valve shaft provides for hydraulically shifting and stopping the second valve member for bypassing the pulsation to provide a full continuous water flow. Water is discharged from the shower head through flexible tubes arranged in groups which are twisted in response to rotation of a control ring for selecting a spray pattern between a tight penetrating pattern and a wide full pattern.

  • Patent number: 4421466
Abstract: An elongated mold box encloses a removable rectangular pallet and has a center portion pivotally supported by a carriage which is supported for vertical movement by a pair of vertical guide posts mounted on a frame. Hydraulic cylinders are connected to move the carriage vertically relative to the frame and pivot the mold box relative to the carriage for tilting the mold box between a vertical concrete filling position and a horizontal position for stripping a molded concrete article from the mold box. The pallet is supported within the mold box by a generally flat tray member which is guided by parallel rails within the mold box and aligned horizontal guide rails on a run-out platform. The mold box also carries a hydraulic cylinder for moving the tray member between a retracted position within the mold box and an extended position on the run-out platform.

  • Patent number: 4101075
Abstract: A shower head includes a tubular body or housing defining a fluid passage which is connected by a plurality of angularly disposed parts directly to a corresponding plurality of fluid chambers. The chambers are defined by axially extending partitions formed as an integral part of the discharge end portion of the housing and are enclosed by a perforated cover member removably secured to the housing. A fluid driven turbine-type valve rotor is supported within the fluid passage by a center pin shaft and includes a projecting closure portion which has a rotating path adjacent the ports for successively closing the ports and momentarily restricting the flow of fluid from the fluid passage into the corresponding fluid chambers. When it is desired to discharge a steady spray, either the cover member is partially released from the housing to provide for fluid communication among the chambers or rotation of the valve rotor is stopped at a predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 4068996
Abstract: A mold box carries a removable pallet and is supported for tilting movement between a generally vertical filling position and a generally horizontal stripping position. In the filling position, the mold box receives a self-hardening material such as concrete to form a molded article. In the stripping position, the pallet and the molded article are pulled from the mold box onto a horizontal platform by a pulling member guided along the platform and connected to a fluid cylinder mounted on the platform. The pulling member connects with an arm member disposed within the mold box under the pallet when the mold box moves to its stripping position. The mold box is also disclosed with a plurality of parallel spaced core members, and the upper or outer ends of the core members are supported by pivotally retractable core support members.
