  • Patent number: 11977520
Abstract: Provided are a computer program product, system, and method for recovering from a pending uncompleted reorganization of a data set managing data sets in a storage. In response an initiation of an operation to access a data set, an operation is initiated to complete a pending uncompleted reorganization of the data set in response to the data set being in a pending uncompleted reorganization state and no other process currently accessing the data set.

  • Patent number: 10108740
Abstract: A method for providing a search sample without a search being triggered is disclosed. The method includes receiving at least one partial search term in a search box. Probable search terms are determined by comparing the at least one partial search term to a database of common search terms. The probable search terms are displayed in a format that include a link to a sample search of each probable search term and a backslide button. When the link to a sample search of a probable search term is selected in the probable search terms, the sample search is displayed in a format that includes a close link. When the close link is selected in the sample search, the probable search terms are displayed again. When the backslide button is selected, the right most word from the search term is deleted.

  • Patent number: 9576053
Abstract: A method and system for ranking an object that contains one or more keywords is disclosed. All linking objects are retrieved that contain a keyword of interest. Each linking object links to the object to be ranked. The locations of each link in each linking object are determined relative to the keywords in the linking objects. A drop off rate is computed for the keyword in each of the linking objects. A perceived importance of the keyword in the each of the linking objects is computed. A partial link rating for each of the linking objects is computed. A total link rating is computed for the at least one keyword across all linking objects. The link ratings each keyword is stored in the object to be ranked.

  • Patent number: 4590791
Abstract: A testing and measuring apparatus and method is described for determining the accuracy of pressure transducers under test and for accurately measuring the pressure of a fluid. Accurate calibration of a referenced pressure transducer and automatic correction of the output signal produced by the reference transducer are features of the system. Specifically, the test system includes a reference pressure transducer, input and output fluid ports, solenoid control valves, a microcomputer and a key pad. Input to the reference pressure transducer is coupled to the solenoid control valves which are respectively coupled to the pressure standard, to atmosphere and to the input and output fluid ports. The output of the reference pressure transducer is coupled to a microcomputer programmed to automatically correct the output signal from the reference pressure transducer for certain predetermined inaccuracies and is also preferably programmed to control the operation of the solenoid control valves.

  • Patent number: 4203510
Abstract: In a thick film screen printer having a chute that is alternately in a horizontal position for receiving a screened substrate at one location on it and inclined downward to slide the screened substrate onto a conveyor belt, a pair of elongated openings extend through the chute at the one location. The broad side edges of the openings are generally parallel to each other and the direction that substrates slide off the chute. These broad edges are also inclined with respect to the top surface of this chute so the openings generally face toward each other. A stream of air is passed through one and then the other of these openings to alternately move substrates over them toward opposite sides of the chute so that they slide onto different transverse locations on the belt.

  • Patent number: 4109535
Abstract: A pressure responsive diaphragm has on its periphery axially spaced annular projections to define a peripheral annular groove therebetween which receives an annular projection at the coupling surface of a coupling flange. The diaphragm is thus releasably retained on the coupling flange and encloses a recess formed in the flange which recess communicates with the instrument. A compressible sealing ring for the recess within the flange is positioned on the peripheral surface of an annular projection of the diaphragm. The diaphragm may also be provided with an axially extending annular projection which is received in a corresponding axially opening groove formed in the coupling flange. A compressible sealing O-ring may be positioned within this axially opening groove radially outwardly of the diaphragm projection or may be positioned on the peripheral edge of the second annular projection of the diaphragm and arranged so that the O-ring contacts two or three metal walls of the coupling flange.
