    Abstract: A pair of two piece clamps are removably attached to a roll bar located towards the rear of a convertible jeep-type vehicle and to a rigid cross bar over the roll bar which in turn has connecting bars attaching the rear cross bar to a front cross bar which in turn is attached to the frame of the windshield. The fabric convertible top is secured between the clamp sections. This provides an overhead carrier with a canvas or fabric covering top in place.
