  • Patent number: 10891798
Abstract: A system for displaying an asset of an interactive electronic technical publication synchronously in a plurality of extended reality display devices. The system comprises a computer having a display displaying the interactive electronic technical publication with a reference to the asset; a multi-channel messaging subsystem; an extended reality application and the plurality of extended reality display devices. The multi-channel messaging subsystem comprises a key-value server and a subscription manager together defining a message broker and using a reactive protocol component allowing clients to subscribe to a channel associated to a conversation. The reactive protocol component used by the message broker allows sending and receiving messages containing at least one of commands, events and property value changes relative to the asset referenced in the interactive electronic technical publication.

  • Publication number: 20100070891
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for configuring an application via a visual map interface. The method involves providing a visual map into which a user can enter configuration data for the application. The visual map includes predefined topics that correspond to configurable portions of the application, and the user enters the configuration data as subtopics to the predefined topics. The predefined topics may be defined by a programmer or system administrator for the configurable application. When the configurable application requests the configuration data, the applicable data entered into the subtopics is sent to the configurable application.

  • Publication number: 20030028383
Abstract: The present invention, in its broadest expression, includes (a) the Pleasure-Arousal-Dominance (PAD) table of emotions that makes it possible (b) to convert emotion terms to their respective PAD values, (c) a formula for working back from any specific set of PAD values to derive a single emotion term that best fits that particular combination of PAD values, (d) a formula for calculating the distance between a preselected set of PAD values and the closest emotion term that matches those PAD values, (e) a method for calculating the average emotional response of a group to any situation or stimulus, thereby permitting the derivation of a single emotion term that best represents the average emotional experience of the group. (f), a generic procedure for deriving emotion terms from multidimensional statistical models. The present invention finds use as an emotion simulator, particularly in the field of closed and open loop systems, such as a heating system, in order to represent how the system is performing.
