    Abstract: A method and apparatus for injection molding plastic articles which have a relatively thin wall portion is disclosed. A primary core is inserted into a cavity to form the basic mold, and molten plastic is injected into the mold. A secondary core is projected partially into the mold at the section of the mold adapted to form the thin wall portion of the article before the plastic is fully cured to thin the plastic at that section. The plastic is then allowed to fully cure to form the article, and it is removed from the mold.
