Abstract: The modular shelf system disclosed allows for shelf construction of varying heights and/or configurations. The modular shelf system includes a first set of shelf members spaced vertically from each other and a second set of shelf members spaced vertically from each other. A plurality of interlocking leg members is coupled to the shelf members for supporting and spacing the shelf members vertically from each other. A shelf connecting clip is provided for connecting at least one shelf member of the first set to a horizontally adjacent shelf member of the second set. A slidable drawer may be supported by one of the shelf members.

Abstract: Stackable rectangular containers, such as those for receiving pets, the top and bottom half of each container having spaced ledges adjacent the corners of the container for receiving extensions of the bases of rollers, when needed. When the rollers are removed, the containers become securely stacked by having upstanding rectangular portions which interfit with those of a stacked container at the four corners.

Abstract: A pet carrier having ventilated sidewalls and four supports at the corners of the bottom of the carrier. Each support contains a roller that is selectively retractable into the support or projected outwardly to enable the carrier to be pulled by a pull cord. Four corresponding receptacles are secured to the corners of the top of the pet carrier of slightly greater dimension than said supports so as to snugly receive said supports when like carriers are in stacked position.

Abstract: A portable litter box for a cat or other domesticated animal comprises a housing having upper and lower sections detachably securable to provide a substantially closed container. The sections are stackable or nestable for storage, shipping and/or display. Preferably, the upper section includes an opening for ingress and egress to the housing and a carrying handle for the box as well as means for holding a freshener; the lower section may include skid resistant feet. Pins are provided for detachably securing the sections together in assembly.

Abstract: A spool assembly having an elongated spindle and a pair of spaced end plates. Each end of the spindle is formed with a resilient locking arrangement and each end plate is formed with a centrally located opening. A locking arrangement is formed on the periphery of each opening to cooperate with a resilient locking arrangement on an end of the spindle. The resilient locking arrangement on an end of the spindle is engaged with the locking arrangement on the periphery of an opening in an end plate to connect the spindle and the end plates. A moveable slide is located within each end of the spindle to move axially relative to the spindle between a retracted position within the spindle and an extended position partially out of the spindle.

Abstract: A paint tray for application of paint to tools used in fine detailing, such as pads, rollers, brushes and the like. The paint tray includes two troughs, one disposed on either side of an inclined ramp in an end of the tray and intermediate the side walls of the tray. Each trough is in fluid communication with a well in the opposite end of the tray. The volume of the troughs provide stability to the paint tray when loaded with paint and facilitate application of paint to tools which require small amounts of paint. An applicator is rotatably mounted within the tray to extend into the well for application of paint to painting pads. The applicator may be cylindrical or beveled. The tray may be combined with various tools which are disposed within the well and troughs and upon the ramp to form a kit for use in trimming.
