  • Patent number: 9556997
Abstract: In embodiments, a large diameter, low pressure plug can be used to seal a pipe subsea. The large diameter, low pressure plug comprises a nose, two or more counter-rotating rings, and one or more seals. Other embodiments disclosed have varying additional structure. The large diameter, low pressure plug is inserted into the inner annulus of a tubular and a sealing action created by rotating the counter-rotating rings to create axial compression, in turn causing radial expansion in the seal against the inner annulus of the tubular, sealing the tubular.

  • Publication number: 20160362964
Abstract: A single line stab uses internal threading that allows a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to mechanically mate up the stab and receptacle without the use of additional tooling. The use of a single coupler allows for a compact stab instead of the large junction plates that are currently used. Can be used to hydraulically control valves, inject fluid, or to sample fluids sub sea.

  • Publication number: 20160144439
Abstract: In embodiments, an underwater wire saw comprises a frame, one or more arms connected to the frame with a predetermined number of the arms comprising a wire tensioner and a selectively telescoping or collapsing tube within a tube, and a continuous wire guided by a plurality of wire guides and tensioned using the wire tensioner. The underwater wire saw may further comprise a clamp.
