  • Patent number: 6902705
Abstract: The subject of the invention is a device for chemical or biological analysis comprising a carrier (21) containing a plurality of analysis sites able to fix a chemical or biological reagent, in which the analysis sites are formed of microdishes (23) hollowed out of the carrier, the side walls and the bottom of the microdishes and the areas of the carrier surface surrounding each microdish, called microdish edges, being made in at least one hydrophilic material (24), and the planar areas of the carrier arranged between the areas surrounding the microdishes being made in a hydrophobic material (27). Drops (29) of reagent are therefore guided into the microdishes (23) on account of the hydrophobic areas (27). It is therefore possible to increase the density of analysis sites on the carrier.

  • Patent number: 6803228
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method to produce a biochip and to a biochip, said biochip being composed particularly of biological probes grafted onto a conductive polymer. The method according to the invention comprises the following steps: a) structuring of a substrate so as to obtain on said substrate microtroughs comprising in their base a layer of a material capable of initiating and promoting the adhesion onto said layer of a film of a pyrrole and functionalised pyrrole copolymer by electropolymerisation, b) collective electropolymerisation, so as to form an electropolymerised film of a pyrrole and functionalised pyrrole copolymer on the base of said microtroughs, c) direct or indirect fixation of functionalised oligonucleotides by microdeposition or a liquid jet printing technique.

  • Patent number: 4770977
Abstract: Photosensitive film which is photosensitive in a given wavelength range comprises at least one silicon-containing polymer, at least one salt which can be converted into a Brunsted acid by irradiation and optionally at least one photosensitizer. The silicon-containing polymer-based photosensitive film can be used as a masking resin in a lithography process for producing electronic components.
