    Abstract: A siding panel is supported by a hanging guide while that siding panel is being maneuvered into a desired position with respect to a support surface. The hanger is attached to the support surface and includes a pocket which accommodates an edge of the siding panel. Once the siding panel is supported by the hanging guide, the siding panel is fixed to the support surface. Once the siding panel is fixed to the support surface, the hanging guide is removed.
