Abstract: Systems and methods for luggage systems are provided. The luggage systems and methods include a luggage housing assembly having a front housing portion and a rear housing portion connected to the front housing portion by a hinge. The luggage systems and methods include a set of wheels mounted to the luggage housing assembly. The luggage systems and methods can include a rechargeable power supply assembly that includes a housing component and a battery module casing configured to receive a rechargeable battery module. The luggage systems and methods can include a compression pad subsystem configured to compress contents of the luggage within the housing portions.

Abstract: Improvements in luggage systems that better address the ways in which many people like to travel, in a style they feel most comfortable, while enjoying an unprecedented level of convenience which they will naturally welcome, while overcoming the shortcomings and drawback of prior art luggage systems, methods and technologies. Such improvements include a telescopic-handle assembly that supports a rechargeable battery power module, a set of USB DC electrical power supply ports and a DC power recharging port configured with the rechargeable battery module, and also a compression pad subsystem and a laundry bag subsystem which cooperate to provide improved performance and reduced complexity.

Abstract: A wearable augmented reality overlay device for use with a tool displays information to a user relating to the status or operation of the tool, to the forming of a work piece for a project, or to safety information related to the tool. The displayed information may include a highlight projected onto a portion of the tool, onto a wearer's body part, or onto a work piece. The displayed information may include a virtual control for the tool or another tool, an operating manual, or a maintenance, assembly or operating guide. The wearable display permits the user to control the tool and potentially other tools in the work shop. The display may instead include a projector to project adjustment information as a tool is adjusted. A virtual image of a tool may be projected to locating a tool in a work area.

Abstract: A pipe clamp has a base with a fixed jaw and a beam extending from the base. A movable jaw member is slidably mounted on the beam. The movable jaw member includes a movable jaw disposed opposite the fixed jaw. A pivotable handle is mounted to the movable jaw member and a clamping mechanism is connected to the pivotable handle and operated by the pivotable handle to move the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw. A latch secures the pivotable handle in any of a plurality of positions. A tripod stand may be provided for supporting the pipe clamp, the tripod having a multi-compartment storage spreader.

Abstract: A telescopically-extendable handle and rechargeable power supply assembly for mounting in a piece of luggage. The assembly includes a pair of spaced apart guide tubes supporting a pair of telescopically-extendable rods joined to a handle structure. A base housing component is mounted in an aperture formed in the luggage, and has a top surface. A battery module casing is mounted to and beneath the base housing component, and disposed substantially in the same plane as and between the pair of spaced apart guide tubes. A rechargeable DC battery power module is contained in the battery module casing, and provides a DC battery recharging port and a set of DC power supplying ports. Each such port is directly accessible through the top surface of the base housing component. A power port cover panel is hinged to the base housing component and has a closed configuration and an open configuration.
