  • Patent number: 11991194
Abstract: Embodiments presented herein describe techniques for generating a linguistic model of input data obtained from a data source (e.g., a video camera). According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a sequence of symbols is generated based on an ordered stream of normalized vectors generated from the input data. A dictionary of words is generated from combinations of the ordered sequence of symbols based on a frequency at which combinations of symbols appear in the ordered sequence of symbols. A plurality of phrases is generated based an ordered sequence of words from the dictionary observed in the ordered sequence of symbols based on a frequency by which combinations of words in ordered sequence of words appear relative to one another.

  • Publication number: 20240155475
Abstract: A system described herein may identify a particular service provided by a first Edge Computing (“EC”) device to a particular User Equipment (“UE”), and may monitor performance information associated with the first EC device and/or a second EC device. The system may determine, based on the monitoring, that the second EC device should provide the service to the particular UE in lieu of the first EC device; and may accordingly cause the service to be provided to the particular UE by the second EC device in lieu of the first EC device. The system may notify the first EC device that the second EC device has been selected to provide the service to the particular UE in lieu of the first EC device, and/or may notify the second EC device that the second EC device has been selected to provide the service to the particular UE.

  • Publication number: 20240145010
Abstract: A processing device in a memory sub-system initiates a partial block handling protocol for a closed block of a memory device, the block comprising a plurality of wordlines. The processing device further sends a first programming command to the memory device to program one or more wordlines of the block with first padding data having a first data pattern, wherein the one or more wordlines are adjacent to a last wordline of the block programmed before the block was closed. In addition, the processing device sends a second programming command to the memory device to program all of a set of remaining wordlines of the block with second padding data having a second data pattern comprising fewer bits of data per cell than the first data pattern.

  • Publication number: 20240130746
Abstract: Methods for performing non-invasive thrombolysis with ultrasound using, in some embodiments, one or more ultrasound transducers to focus or place a high intensity ultrasound beam onto a blood clot (thrombus) or other vascular inclusion or occlusion (e.g., clot in the dialysis graft, deep vein thrombosis, superficial vein thrombosis, arterial embolus, bypass graft thrombosis or embolization, pulmonary embolus) which would be ablated (eroded, mechanically fractionated, liquefied, or dissolved) by ultrasound energy. The process can employ one or more mechanisms, such as of cavitational, sonochemical, mechanical fractionation, or thermal processes depending on the acoustic parameters selected. • Patent number: 11963672
Abstract: An endoscopic snare net comprises a net engaging a loop, such as by weaving the loop through a mesh of the net, and a tube having a lumen through which the net and loop may be extended and withdrawn by a control wire. The loop has one or more corners or a collared, free-floating slip tether or both thereof, which prevent the net from sliding free of the loop as the loop is retracted into the lumen of the tube, even if the loop is over-extended beyond the end of the tube.

  • Patent number: 11948220
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include dynamically selecting transportation options to present to a transportation requestor device based on current transportation network conditions and transportation requestor device history. In some embodiments, transportation network may have many different ways of arranging a transportation requestor's trip, such as private rides, shared rides, immediate rides, and delayed rides. In some examples, the requestor's choice of transportation option may have an impact on the transportation network. In anticipation of or in response to a transportation request, the method may determine which transportation options will better benefit the transportation network and determine which transportation options to display to the requestor and/or the prominence with which the transportation products are displayed. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240098474
Abstract: A system described herein may provide a technique for receiving a communication session request associated with a particular User Equipment (“UE”). The system may identify locator information associated with an edge discovery system associated with a network that includes a plurality of edge devices, wherein the edge discovery system receives service requests associated with one or more UEs and provides an indication of a respective edge device of the plurality of edge device in response to respective service requests. The system may output, in response to the communication session request, the locator information associated with the edge discovery system, wherein the particular UE communicates with the edge discovery system using the locator information to output a particular service request and receive, from the edge discovery system, an indication of a particular edge device of the plurality of edge devices in response to the particular service request.

  • Publication number: 20240093114
Abstract: A lubricant adheres to a magnetic recording medium via at least one of chemisorption or bonding, and contains a perfluorinated polyether attached to or terminated with a functional group that is phosphonic acid, silanol or carboxylic acid, and may be: R1—Rf—R1 where Rf is —CF2O(CF2CF2CF2CF2O)n—, —CF2O(CF2CF2CF2O)nCF2—, —CF2O[CF(CF3)CF2O]nCF2—, —CF2O(CF2CF2O)m(CF2O)nCF2—, —CF2O(CF2CF2O)nCF2—, n, m is from 1 to 100 and R1 is the functional group. A lubricant is formed from a multiple ether segments according to formula: Re1—Rb1-Ri-Rc-Ri-Rb2—Re2; where Rc includes perfluoroalkyl ether, Rb1 and Rb2 are, independently, a sidechain segment including a perfluoroalkyl ether, optional Ri independently is a divalent linking segment including a functional group including elements from periodic table Group 13-17, and of Re1 and Re2 are phosphonic acid, silanol or carboxylic acid.

  • Publication number: 20240084051
Abstract: Disclosed are support-activators and catalyst compositions comprising the support-activators for polymerizing olefins in which the support-activator includes clay heteroadduct, prepare from a colloidal phyllosilicate such as a colloidal smectite clay, which is chemically-modified with a heterocoagulation agent. By limiting the amount of heterocoagulation reagent relative to the colloidal smectite clay as described herein, the smectite heteroadduct support-activator is a porous and amorphous solid which can be readily isolated from the resulting slurry by a conventional filtration process, and which can activate metallocenes and related catalysts toward olefin polymerization. Related compositions and processes are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11914937
Abstract: Techniques, systems, and devices are described for providing a computational frame for estimating high-dimensional stochastic behaviors. In one exemplary aspect, a method for performing numerical estimation includes receiving a set of measurements of a stochastic behavior. The set of correlated measurements follows a non-standard probability distribution and is non-linearly correlated. Also, a non-linear relationship exists between a set of system variables that describes the stochastic behavior and a corresponding set of measurements. The method includes determining, based on the set of measurements, a numerical model of the stochastic behavior. The numerical model comprises a feature space comprising non-correlated features corresponding to the stochastic behavior. The non-correlated features have a dimensionality of M and the set of measurements has a dimensionality of N, M being smaller than N.

  • Patent number: 7072341
Abstract: A device provides for sending datagrams representing real time streaming media frames to a client independent of whether the client is served by a network address proxy. The device receives a datagram originated by the client that includes an indicated network address and an indicated port number for receipt of the datagrams representing real time streaming media frames, extracts a source network address and a source port number from the datagram originated by the client, and compares the indicated network address to the source network address. The device addresses the datagrams representing real time streaming media frames to the source network address and source port number if the indicated network address and the source network address are not the same.
