  • Publication number: 20200110727
Abstract: A method for transmitting and updating program data in a highly compact format using recursive encoding, wherein data is deconstructed into chunklets, and is processed through a series of reference code libraries that reduce the data to a sequence of reference codes, and where the output of each reference library is used as the input to the next.

  • Patent number: 10509582
Abstract: A system for storing and transmitting data in a highly compact format comprising reference codes to data chunklets contained in a library, wherein the data are retrieved after transmission or storage by re-constructing the data from the chunklets in the library using the reference codes. One version of the system contains proprietary libraries which act as a form of data security. Another version of the system contains a standardized version of the library encoded onto the firmware of a broad range of computing devices, allowing optimized storage and transmission of data between two such devices equipped with the system.

  • Patent number: 10476519
Abstract: A system and method for high-speed transfer of small data sets, that provides near-instantaneous bit-level lossless compression, that is ideal for communications environments that cannot tolerate even small amounts of data corruption, have very low latency tolerance, where data has a low entropy rate, and where every bit costs the user bandwidth, power, or time so that deflation is worthwhile. Where some loss of data can be tolerated, the system and method can be configured for use as lossy compression.

  • Patent number: 5751712
Abstract: In a multimedia communications system where bandwidth of an access facility is limited, the bandwidth is partitioned into three bands dedicated to audio, video and data traffic, respectively, in accordance with blocking probabilities associated with the respective media types. The value of each blocking probability is selected pursuant to the relative importance of the associated media type in a multimedia service. With the blocking probabilities in place, the dominance of traffic of a particular media type, which may be relatively unimportant in the service, would not cause blocking of traffic of other media types, which may be relatively important.
