  • Patent number: 10259548
Abstract: A splash guard for a snorkel tube has an extension pipe, a pivot member pivotally mounted on the extension pipe, a space surrounded by the extension pipe and the pivot member, a float member pivotally mounted on the pivot member and located in the space, a closure member disposed on the pivot member, and a cover disposed on the extension pipe. The extension pipe has a first aperture and a second aperture in opposition. The pivot member has two pivot arms and a support portion. A pivoting limit is formed in a surface of the support portion facing the extension pipe which is selectively abutted by the float member. The closure member selectively seals the first aperture. The cover has a socket selectively engaged by the projection. The present invention can prevent inadequate sealing and has the advantages of light weight and small volume.

  • Publication number: 20170225756
Abstract: A splash guard comprises a housing comprising a first aperture, a pivotal member comprising a pivot aim pivotally connected with the housing and a loading part connected with the pivot arm, a space surrounded by the pivot arm, the loading part, and the housing, a float member pivotally connected with the loading part and positioned in the space, and a closure member mounted on the first mounting portion and selectively covering the first aperture. The loading part has a side surface facing the housing and a pushing portion positioned on the side surface. The float member selectively abuts the pushing portion. The direction in which the float member pivots about the pivotal member and the direction in which the pivotal member pivots about the housing are reverse to each other. The splash guard is convenient in use and storage and provides safety and comfort to the snorkeler.

  • Publication number: 20090217444
Abstract: A diving mask has a mask portion and a skirt mounted securely to the mask portion. The skirt has an opening with a contact surface and has at least two pads. The contact surface of the opening fits and covers a diver's eyes to prevent water from permeating the mask, when worn. The pads are made of soft and resilient material, are attached to the contact surface of the opening of the skirt and respectively correspond to corners of the diver's eyes. Each pad may be an arch and defines a gap between the pad and the contact surface so when a diver wears the diving mask, the pads closely abut around the corners of the diver's eyes to avoid the corners being pressed. Therefore, the diving mask is ensures a diver experiences normal eyesight and comfort for improved safety.

  • Publication number: 20080053435
Abstract: A snorkel connector has a base tube, a mounting tube and a mouthpiece. The base tube has two outer side walls and two side recesses. The side recesses are respectively formed in the outer side walls and each have a bottom and a bottom recess. The bottom recesses are formed respectively in the bottoms of the side recesses. The mounting tube is removably mounted on the base tube and has two wings and a supporting part. The wings are formed on the mounting tube, are held in the side recesses of the base tube and have protrusions. The protrusions are formed on the wings of the mounting tube and engage the bottom recesses of the base tube to hold the mounting tuber onto the base tube. The mouthpiece is mounted on the mounting tube and allows the support part of the mounting tube to extend into.

  • Publication number: 20070023961
Abstract: A method for making a lens retainer for a dive mask has multiple steps comprising preparing a frame, mounting a mold on the frame, filling the mold with liquid plastic, curing the liquid plastic and removing the mold from the frame. A first step is preparing a frame having at least one opening and multiple interface holes. The at least one opening is formed through the frame. The holes are formed through the frame. A second step is mounting a mold on the frame. Then the mold and the interface holes are filled with liquid plastic to form a crown on the frame. The plastic is cured, and the mold is removed from the frame. The plastic in the interface holes form multiple rods that hold the crown on the frame.
