  • Publication number: 20240182435
Abstract: The disclosure aims to provide a chemical synthesis method of a prodelphinidin B9 gallate, in which the prodelphinidin B9 gallate is synthesized by using a proanthocyanidin from Chinese bayberry leaves as a raw material, and using epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) as a nucleophilic reagent to attack C4 sites of subunits EGCG and epigallocatechin (EGC) of the proanthocyanidin from Chinese bayberry leaves in the presence of hydrochloric acid as a catalyst. Compared with prodelphinidin B9 gallates extracted and separated from materials such as tea leaves, and Chinese bayberry leaves, the prodelphinidin B9 gallate prepared by the method provided in the present disclosure has higher purity and yield, and can be directly used as a nutrient enhancer and a natural antioxidant in the field of food.

  • Publication number: 20240182082
Abstract: In various examples, policy planning using behavior models for autonomous and semi-autonomous systems and applications is described herein. Systems and methods are disclosed that determine a policy for navigating a vehicle, such as a semi-autonomous vehicle or an autonomous vehicle (or other machine), where the policy allows for multistage reasoning that leverages future reactive behaviors of one or more other objects. For instance, a first behavior model (e.g., a trajectory tree) may be generated that represents candidate trajectories for the vehicle and one or more second behavior models (e.g., one or more scenario trees) may be generated that respectively represent future behaviors of the other object(s). The first behavior model and the second behavior model(s) may then be processed, such as in a closed-loop simulation based on a realistic data-driven traffic model, to determine the policy for navigating the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240181828
Abstract: A multi-degree-of-freedom active damping mechanism control method, system and a damping mechanism are provided. A skyhook active damping control algorithm is used for controlling an electric cylinder output force in a vertical damping direction, and an adaptive control algorithm with an adaptive rate is used for correcting a load moment of inertia in pitch and roll damping directions. At the same time, a predictive model is established according to a task space linearization equation near an equilibrium point, and states of the system at N future moments are predicted in advance at each moment to achieve optimal control under complex constraints and reduce the influence of system delay. At the same time, the three control methods may further improve the active damping effect of the damping device by combining road information obtained by a visual sensor in real time.

  • Publication number: 20240183838
Abstract: A method for quickly acquiring soil hydraulic properties in situ based on a ponded infiltration experiment is provided. The method adopts a novel derivation method, and is based on a Richards' equation and a Brooks-Corey model to derive an analytical solution that accurately describes one-dimensional infiltration into homogeneous soil under ponded conditions. The method, for the first time, provides a detailed description of a developing saturated zone in the soil water profile, which is the most vital infiltration characteristic during ponded infiltration. The method proposes an optimized estimation method for parameters based on an inverse process of the analytical solution. The method can quickly acquire soil hydraulic properties in situ field by measuring a cumulative infiltration amount and a length of a wetting front over time during one-dimensional ponded infiltration experiment through a time-domain reflectometer (TDR).

  • Publication number: 20240182549
Abstract: Described herein are peptides and peptide-antibody fusions that bind to the SARS-CoV-2 S protein and the receptor binding domain (RED), and methods for using the compositions containing these antibodies in the treatment of COVID-19, Specifically, we developed novel CoV-2 S protein binding peptides making use of a naïve phage-displayed 16mer peptide library—wherein the CoV-2 S protein binding peptides bind epitopes in both the RBD and S protein outside of the RBD. In addition, we show that fusion of these peptides to the N-terminus of nAbs improves their apparent affinity, potency and breadth of neutralization, without compromising their developability profile, Thus, these peptides represent a novel class of SARS-CoV-2 S protein binders, which can be formatted in various ways to improve functional properties of nAbs to be used in the treatment of many different diseases.
