  • Publication number: 20020190549
Abstract: An on-vehicle massage system for a passenger vehicle that utilizes an air compressor on the passenger vehicle as a source of dynamic force and the power supply on the passenger vehicle as an electric power source to inflate and deflate air bags mounted in seats of the passenger vehicle to provide massage action. A pressure detecting circuit detects the air pressure in an air cylinder of the air compressor, so that the on-vehicle massage system is actuated only when a detected pressure value is high enough for normal and safe operation of the passenger vehicle. The on-vehicle massage system is economical and safe for use to relieve passengers' stiff muscles caused by long distance journey on the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6334650
Abstract: A flexible pad for seat is provided. The pad includes a back pad for attaching to a back of the seat. Two movable covers are connected at upper edges to the back pad at locations separately close to a user's nape and waist. Lower edges of the movable covers can be fixedly or detachably connected to the back pad, such that a receiving space with two open ends is defined between each of the movable covers and the back pad for receiving a nape rest or a waist rest therein. The two rests are long members having a C-shaped profile and covered with an elastic net. The rests are provided at suitable positions with hooking means for firmly hooking the rests onto the back pad. The nape and the waist rests may be adjusted in their vertical and horizontal positions in their receiving spaces relative to the back pad, so that they may most comfortably support a driver's neck and waist to avoid easily growing tired during driving.

  • Patent number: 6178577
Abstract: A mattress having multiple massage units provided on a top surface thereof is provided. Each of the massage units is formed at a lower side with an open-ended space through which two long locating strips are extended. The long locating strips are sewed up onto the top surface of the mattress at points that are in front of and behind each massage unit by a predetermined distance, so that the massage units are attached to the mattress by the long locating strips while being movable between two sewed points of the long strips before and after them. The massage units are provided in their inner spaces with at least one pair of massage elements to massage different areas on a user's body.

  • Patent number: 5995399
Abstract: A power supply control circuit for a DC pump including an oscillating circuit, a frequency dividing circuit, a waveform process circuit, a bridge-type driving circuit, and a driving circuit. The waveform process circuit includes two looped time delay circuits and two NAND gates to separately receive phase-splitting signals produced by the frequency dividing circuit, so as to produce first and second phase signals having phase difference between them. The bridge-type driving circuit includes a bridge-type transistor pair composed of four transistors to separately receive and be driven by the first and second phase signals to generate a driving signal. The driving signal is sent to the driving circuit for the latter to supply working power needed by the pump.

  • Patent number: 5967188
Abstract: A distribution valve assembly, particularly to a compact valve which can distribute the air from a single air inlet to a plurality of air outlets, comprises a valve housing and a binding air-duct housing. The valve housing further comprises a plurality of electromagnetic valves to form several independent air-flow devices with corresponding air passages to the air-duct housing. Each independent air-flow device further comprises a first air passage and a second air passage, and a penetrating passage is constructed to connect all second air passages. The penetrating passage has an air inlet connecting a pump at one end and a drain valve at another end. Air flow inside the penetrating valve can then be directed to any air-flow device.
