    Abstract: A measurement assistance system and method are provided. The measurement assistance system includes: a measurement platform, having an operation area configured for a to-be-measured object and a measurement tool to be placed; a camera, arranged on the measurement platform and configured to obtain a measurement image; and a server module, electrically connected to the camera and configured to execute a measurement tool identification program, a measurement part identification program, and a measurement posture identification program according to the measurement image, and determine whether a measurement tool appearance image, a measurement part image, and a measurement posture image are correct. The server module has a processing unit. When the measurement tool appearance image, the measurement part image, and the measurement posture image are all correct, a measurement result is generated according to measurement data.

    Abstract: A network device connected to a client includes a table-creation module, a transceiving module, a detecting module, and a translation module. The table-creation module creates an internal table and at least one external table, listing a plurality of real network parameters of the network device, and a plurality of virtual network parameters of the network device, respectively. The real parameters respectively corresponding to the virtual parameters. The transceiving module receives a packet from the network or the client, and forwards the packet. The detecting module detects whether the packet is a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) packet, and further detects whether the VoIP packet is a VoIP control packet, or a VoIP data packet. The translation module translates network parameters of the VoIP packet according to a corresponding relationship between the internal table and the at least one external table. A packet forwarding method is also provided.

    Abstract: A network device (10) communicates with other network devices with a plurality of loops, and includes a plurality of virtual ringing groups, a plurality of Ringer Equivalency Number (REN) loads (106), a receiving module (100), an assigning module (102), and a ringing module (104). Each virtual ringing group rings during an individually fixed ringing time interval. The REN loads are for generating ringing signals, and the number of REN loads is less than that of the loops. The receiving module receives a calling signal, and transmits the calling signal to one of the loops. The assigning module assigns the calling signal to one of the virtual ringing groups. The ringing module assigns one REN load to the loop with the calling signal according to the assigned virtual ringing group. A load assigning method is also provided.
