  • Publication number: 20240161998
Abstract: A deflecting plate includes a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) substrate. The SOI substrate includes: an insulator layer having a top surface and a bottom surface; a device layer coupled to the insulator layer at the top surface, wherein multiple deflecting apertures are disposed in the device layer, each of which extending from a top open end to a bottom open end through the device layer, and wherein the bottom open end is coplanar with the top surface of the insulator layer; and a handle substrate coupled to the insulator layer at the bottom surface, wherein a cavity is disposed in the handle substrate and extends from a cavity open end to a cavity bottom wall, and wherein the bottom wall is coplanar with the top surface of the insulator layer, such that the bottom open end of each deflecting aperture is exposed to the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20120143981
Abstract: A common server, an adaptor, and a data conforming method thereof are provided. The adaptor connects to sensor network system. The sensor network system connects to the common server via the adaptor through a network. Different sensor network systems can transform the data via the adaptor connected thereto to make different data conform with a common parameter format. After receiving different data, which conform to the common parameter format, from the different sensor networks, the common server transmits the data to the back-end application server accordingly so that the data can be processed.

  • Publication number: 20080123554
Abstract: A deploying apparatus, a method, and a computer readable medium thereof for deploying a network in a space are provided. The method generates a plurality of grid points in the space and then disposes a first network node having a first effective connection range on one of the grid points. After that the following rule can be repeated: if a new network node is required to be disposed, it has to be disposed on a grid point that covered by at least one of the effective connection ranges of the previous disposed network nodes. In addition, an effective connection range of the new network node has to cover one of the previous disposed network nodes. By using the technique, the network can be deployed rapidly without heavy calculation. Furthermore, when the setting of the space changes or when the number of the network nodes changes, the technique does not have to deploy the whole network in the space again. It only has to adjust the deployment of part of the network in the space.

  • Publication number: 20050243819
Abstract: An internet phone system and a peer to peer communication method are described. The internet phone system includes a first area DNS, a first area server, a second area server and an upper layer server. When a user calls the individual number of a second internet phone, the first area server looks up the IP address of the second internet phone, through the DNS system, according to the individual number and of the second internet phone and establishes a peer to peer communication between the first internet phone and the second internet phone. When a user calls the internet phone number of the third internet phone, the second area server looks up the IP address of the third internet phone, through the DNS system, according to the individual number of the third internet phone, and establishes a peer to peer communication between the first internet phone and the third internet phone.
