When the wheel holder is in a first position, the second bevel face of the wheel holder is seated with the first bevel face of the mounting plate, and the wheel holder is prohibited from downward movement. When the wheel holder is in the second position, the second bevel face of the wheel holder is slid along and forced against the first bevel face of the mounting member so that the wheel holder is moved downwards relative to the mounting member to force the wheel into engagement with the floor for enabling the machine tool to be moved to a desired location by rotation of the wheel.

In an alternate embodiment, a driving device is used to provide support to the second side of the platform during the expansion and collapse of the folding tool stand.

Abstract: A connecting assembly is adapted to connect a power tool and a stand. The stand is configured to support the power tool at a predetermined height above the ground. The stand forms at least one hole on its top. The connecting assembly includes a plug having a head and a lock section, a base fixed on the stand and correspondingly located underneath the hole, and a lock assembly. The head is larger than the hole. When the plug is inserted into the bottom of the power tool, through the hole and into the base, the lock assembly is movable relative to the base to selectively lock or unlock the lock section. Thus, the power tool and the stand can be easily and quickly connected or seperarated without the use of any tools.

Abstract: A securing device for securing a blade of a cutting tool includes a clamp assembly, a bolt, a resistant slice and a driving member. The clamp assembly has two clamp members between which the blade is clamped. The bolt extends into the clamp assembly and is screwed into a driving shaft device of the cutting tool for securing and pressing the clamp assembly to clamp the blade. The resistant slice is shaped to a curvature. The bolt is through the resistant slice, and the head of the bolt presses the resistant slice so as to force the clamp assembly. The driving member includes a body fixed on the head of the bolt and a handle pivotally coupled to the body. The distance between the head of the bolt and a movable end of the handle is changed when the handle pivots with regard to the body.

Abstract: The present invention is an angle indicator for a sawing machine. The sawing machine has a worktable, a pivot shaft, a saw blade holder fastened to the pivot shaft as the pivoting center thereof and having a motor, and a saw blade connected to the saw blade holder, rotatable by the motor and passing through the worktable. The angle indicator has an angle indicating member having an index zone and a following member. The following member is fixed on the pivot shaft and connected to the angle indicating member. Thereby the saw blade is moved with the saw blade holder, and the following member is pivoted with the saw blade holder by the pivot shaft to result in movement of the index zone when the saw blade holder pivots, so that the displacement of the index zone corresponds to the movement of the saw blade.
