  • Patent number: 8451602
Abstract: A handheld electronic device includes a first body, a second body, a flexible electrical connector, and a protection cover. The second body is slidably stacked with the first body. The flexible electrical connector is electrically connected between the first body and the second body. The cover is slidably disposed between the first body and the second body. The cover is at an initial position when the first body and the second body are in a stacked state. The cover shields the flexible electrical connector exposed after the second body moves when the first body and the second body are in a spread state. As a result, the lifetime of the handheld electronic device can be prolonged. Additionally, the available region of the handheld electronic device in the spread state can be increased to provide higher design flexibility.

  • Publication number: 20130081655
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for processing a substrate are described. The methods include generating a fluid meniscus between upper and lower proximity heads. Each of the upper and lower proximity heads has a length that extends up to at least a diameter of the substrate. The method further includes dispensing a pre-wetting fluid towards an edge region of the substrate to form a pre-wet fluid meniscus on the edge region. The method also includes progressively moving the substrate along a path that is defined between the upper and lower proximity heads to progressively establish contact between the pre-wet fluid meniscus and the fluid meniscus.

  • Publication number: 20100144409
Abstract: A sliding type handheld mobile device is disclosed. A screen module covers a plurality of keys of a body, and may slide relative to the body to expose the keys. The screen module has an opening to allow the FPC to pass through and connect to the body. One end of a linkage is connected to the body, and another end is connected to a shuttle to make the linkage driven by the body and push the shuttle to cover the opening. This may prevent electronic components inside the screen module from being exposed.

  • Publication number: 20090320942
Abstract: A head for dispensing a thin film over a substrate is disclosed. The head includes a body assembly that extends between a first and a second end that is at least a width of the substrate. The body includes a main bore that is defined between the first and the second ends, the main bore connected to an upper side of a reservoir through a plurality of feeds that are defined between the main bore and the reservoir. The body also includes a plurality of outlets connected to a lower side of the reservoir and extend to an output slot. The plurality of feeds have a larger cross-sectional area than the plurality of outlets and the plurality of feeds are fewer than the plurality of outlets. Wherein fluid is configured to flow through the main bore, through the plurality of feeds along the bore and fill the reservoir up to at least the threshold level before fluid is evenly output as a film out of the output slot onto the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20020114624
Abstract: A camera power source control device comprises a press switch and a mechanical start switch. The press switch is disposed on one circuit located between the camera power source and a zoom cylinder control motor such that the circuit is connected at the time when the press switch is pressed, thereby driving the control motor to extract the zoom cylinder to locate at a predetermined position. The circuit is disconnected when the press switch is not pressed. The mechanical start switch is disposed on other circuit located between the camera power source and the zoom cylinder control motor and is formed of a first contact electric piece and a second contact electric piece, which are separated from each other at the time when the zoom cylinder is retracted to a closed position. The two contact electric pieces are in contact with each other at the time when the zoom cylinder is extracted to locate at a standby position.
