    Abstract: An applique is adhesively affixed to at least one face of a hand held device wherein the hand held device comprises a case housing electronic components. The case is a cubic structure having at least one contoured surface on at least one face thereof wherein the face further has a plurality of means for actuating disposed thereon for operating the portable device. The appearance of the face of the hand held device is changed by the application of the applique thereto wherein the applique is selected from a group of appliques permitting the owner of the hand held device to personalize the hand held device.
