The contacting face is adhered on a portion of the inner surface corresponding to the tread by using adhesive material, and each sound absorbing material further includes a channel passing through the extending face, communicating with the air chamber, and facing a central direction of the tire.

The expansion portion located in the sleeve includes a first end portion and a second end portion connected to the shaft portion. An outer diameter of the first end portion is greater than an outer diameter of the second end portion. When the expansion anchoring device is mounted in a recessing hole of a wall and the connecting portion is pulled, the expansion portion abuts against the movable member, making the movable member protrude out of the through-hole and abut against a hole wall of the recessing hole.

The restricting member is put into the receiving groove through open ends of the receiving groove. A width between a section of walls of the receiving groove and a width of a portion of the restricting member is greater than a width of a mouth of the receiving groove. The locking device includes a main body wherein a locking portion is disposed on the main body and is manipulatable to move between a first position and a second position. The main body slidably fits around the track bar. When the locking portion in the second position, the main body could slide to fit a flange of a fixture. After that, returns the locking portion back to the first position to fix the main body on the track bar.

    Abstract: High frequency components of audio signals are reconstructed from the aspects of envelope and fine detail. The envelopes of the high frequency components are found through linear extrapolation of signals with frequencies lower than a cutoff frequency point. One method of reconstructing high frequency components is based on the linear extrapolation on the logarithm scale magnitudes of the transform coefficients of the audio signal in a frequency domain. The linear extrapolation is a linear approximation based on minimizing least squares of the logarithm scale magnitudes of the transform coefficients of the low frequency components. Another method is based on the linear extrapolation on the logarithm scale magnitudes of the envelope elements of the filterbank signals of the audio signal over a time segment. The linear extrapolation is a linear approximation based on minimizing least squares of the logarithm scale magnitudes of the envelope elements of the low frequency filterbank signals.

    Abstract: The present invention proposes a fast motion estimation using N-queen pixel decimation, whereby after a reference block and a block to be processed are selected in a video sequence, an N×N queens pattern is used for pixel decimation to perform block match, thereby obtaining a good enough block difference value. The present invention combines pixel decimation with fast motion estimation for search points reduction to achieve the object of simplifying computational complexity of motion estimation. Therefore, the present invention can sieve out sufficiently representative pixels and will not increase extra computational complexity.

    Abstract: A computer system and a method for playing encrypted multimedia data are proposed. The computer system has a first operating system that heavily consumes system resources and a second operating system that slightly consumes the system resources. Via a basic input/output system (BIOS), the computer system is booted with a second operating system. The second operating system uses a multimedia-receiving unit to receive remote encrypted multimedia data and store the data into a storage unit. The second operating system uses a decrypting unit to access at least one kind of the encrypted multimedia data stored in the storage unit and the register information corresponding to the encrypted multimedia data from a first operating system for decryption. After the decrypting operation is completed, a playback unit is used to access the multimedia data that has been decrypted for perform a playback operation.

Then increase output speed of the received first audio signal for outputting and producing a second audio signal. Sample a high frequency audio signal from the second audio signal and use this high frequency audio signal in compensation of the first audio signal, then output the compensated audio signal.     Abstract: A computer power management architecture and a method thereof is disclosed. A first operating system and a second operating system with lower consumption of system resources are installed in a computer system. When a multimedia presentation unit installed in a first operating system or a second operating system runs programs, a power control unit installed in the multimedia presentation unit or the second operating system retrieves related data from a power management data unit according to the programs being executed by the multimedia presentation unit. Thus the hardware devices necessary for running the programs are switched on while unemployed hardware devices of the computer system are shut down by the power control unit. Moreover, the power control unit adjusts frequency of a central processing unit of the computer system according to the programs executed by the multimedia presentation unit so as to reduce the electricity consumption of the computer system.

    Abstract: An FIR-based apparatus performs fast convolution in the frequency domain for generating room reverberation. The impulse response of a room is segmented and transformed by FFT to form a plurality of segmented room frequency spectra. The input signal to the room is also segmented and transformed to form segmented input frequency spectra. Either overlap-and-add method or overlap-and-save method is applied in the apparatus to accomplish the fast convolution based on the multiplication of segmented input frequency spectrum and segmented room frequency spectrum. To further reduce the complexity of the convolution, a segmented room frequency spectrum is processed to remove high frequency components before being used in the fast convolution according to a perceptual criterion.

    Abstract: An architecture and method for sharing application programs between multiple operating systems with feature of electricity saving is disclosed. The architecture of computer system includes a first operating system that is installed in a first storage device, a second operating system that is compressed to be stored in a second storage device, and a virtual disk that is a disk storage device formed by simulation of part of area in a memory device. A basic input output system (BIOS) is used to boot the computer, then the second operating system is decompressed and is loaded into the virtual disc for being executed. Through an interface unit, the second operating system shares at least a data display program and a multimedia playback program with the first operating system. Thus the second storage device becomes in sleep mode. By reducing disc access, the electricity saving is achieved and the execution speed is increased effectively.
