    Abstract: A vertical thin film transistor and a method for manufacturing the same and a display device including the vertical thin film transistor and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The vertical thin film transistor is applied to a substrate. In the present invention, a gate layer of the vertical thin film transistor is formed to have a plurality of concentric annular structures and the adjacent concentric annular structures are linked.     Abstract: A 12-bit DAC includes a resistor string, three 16-to-1 selectors and an adder. The 12-bit DAC receives a 12-bit digital input data and provides a corresponding analog output voltage with 3-segmented conversion. The resistor string includes a plurality of voltage-dividing units for providing a plurality of reference voltages corresponding to each segment of conversion. After receiving the plurality of reference voltages generated by the resistor string, the three 16-to-1 selectors output 3 reference voltages corresponding to the three segments of conversion according to the 4 most significant bits, 4 least significant bits and the other 4 bits in the 12-bit digital input data, respectively. The adder can then generate the corresponding output analog voltage by summing the 3 reference voltages.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. An insulating pattern layer having at least one protrusion is formed on a substrate. Afterwards, at least one spacer and a plurality of amorphous semiconductor patterns separated from each other are formed on the insulating pattern layer. The spacer is formed at one side of the protrusion and connected between the amorphous semiconductor patterns. Later, the spacer and the amorphous semiconductor patterns are crystallized. Subsequently, the protrusion and the insulating pattern layer below the spacer are removed so that a beam structure having a plurality of corners is formed and suspended over the substrate. Then, a carrier tunneling layer, a carrier trapping layer and a carrier blocking layer are sequentially formed to compliantly wrap the corners of the beam structure. Hereafter, a gate is formed on the substrate to cover the beam structure and wrap the carrier blocking layer.

The crystallized silicon target of the anode is disposed on an end facing to that of the cathode, wherein the resistance of the crystallized silicon targets is smaller than 0.01 ?·cm. Besides, a method of fabricating nano-crystalline silicon thin film is also provided. By using the plasma apparatus, a nano-crystalline silicon thin film with high quality is formed.

The DC-DC boost converter is utilized for boosting an input voltage to generate an output voltage, and adjusting a voltage level of the output voltage according to a level switching signal. The charge recycling circuit is electrically connected to the DC-DC boost converter, and is utilized for generating a current path according to the level switching signal to recycle redundant charges from the DC-DC boost converter when the output voltage is switched from high to low and to return stored charges back to the DC-DC boost converter when the output voltage is switched from low to high, so as to accelerate voltage switching of the output voltage and to reduce power consumption of the DC-DC boost converter.

    Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) driving circuit is provided. The LED driving circuit includes a voltage adjusting unit, a switch unit, and a control unit. The control unit is coupled to the voltage adjusting unit and the switch unit. The voltage adjusting unit outputs a driving voltage to a first end of each of a plurality of load units. The switch unit is coupled to a second end of each of the load units. When one LED string in the load units is coupled to a current source, the voltage adjusting unit adjusts the voltage level of the driving voltage so that the voltage level of the driving voltage of the driving voltage corresponds to the driven LED string. Thereby, a driving problem caused by the variation in electrical characteristics of the LEDs is alleviated.

    Abstract: A method of scanning a touch panel is provided. The present method includes following steps. First, a scan area is defined according to the coordinates of a detected touch signal. Next, the scan area is scanned during a predetermined period to detect a next touch panel. After the predetermined period, a sensing range of the touch panel is scanned to re-define the scan area. Because the scan area is smaller than the sensing range of the touch panel, the time and power consumed by the scanning operation can be both reduced by detecting the touch signals within the scan area.
