  • Patent number: 7983025
Abstract: A driving device (100) for driving a plurality of discharge lamps (14), and includes a controller board (11), a connecting board (15), and a group of high voltage lines (17). The controller board includes a controller circuit (13) for converting a received signal to a high voltage signal suitable to drive the plurality of discharge lamps. The connecting board includes a balance circuit for balancing currents flowing through the plurality of discharge lamps. The connecting board is substantially perpendicular to the controller board. The high voltage lines are connected to the controller board and the connecting board, and the high voltage signal from the controller circuit is output to the balance circuit via the high voltage lines.

  • Patent number: 7391170
Abstract: A voltage sensing circuit (230) for sensing voltage signals of input alternating current (AC) signals includes a plurality of voltage dividing circuits (23n (n=1, 2, 3, . . . , n)) and a charging circuit (232). The voltage dividing circuits are used for dividing voltage signals of the input AC signals. The voltage dividing circuits are connected to the charging circuit, and then the divided voltage signals can be transmitted between the voltage dividing circuits, thereby pulling high corresponding DC levels of the divided voltage signals.

  • Patent number: 7362103
Abstract: A system for driving a plurality of lamps includes an inverter circuit (20) and a fault detecting circuit (30). The inverter circuit includes a plurality of outputs divided into a first output part and a second output part. The fault detecting circuit is used for detecting whether one or more of the plurality of outputs of the inverter circuit is faulty, and includes a magnetic element circuit (300) and a signal detecting circuit (310). The magnetic element circuit is used for generating an induction signal according to flux changes of the magnetic element circuit when one of the plurality of outputs is faulty. The signal detecting circuit is used for generating a fault signal according to the induction signal.
