  • Publication number: 20240124292
Abstract: An auxiliary operation device for a droplet dispenser includes a droplet sensor, an imaging device and a processor. The droplet sensor has a detected area located between a droplet dispenser and a target area, wherein the droplet sensor detects a droplet output from the droplet dispenser, and outputs a corresponding droplet detection signal. The imaging device captures an image of the target area. The processor obtains a dripping time point at which the droplet passes through the detected area according to the droplet detection signal, and determines whether the target area is shielded within a first time range according to the image, so as to evaluate whether the droplet has successfully dropped into the target area. The above-mentioned auxiliary operating device of the droplet dispenser can objectively determine whether the droplets successfully drops into the target area, and improve the accuracy of judgment.

  • Publication number: 20150349620
Abstract: A horizontally rotating driving apparatus is connected with a longitudinal rotating shaft and includes a frame, a rotating unit, multiple electromagnetic units and multiple sensor switch units. The frame is mounted on the rotating shaft and has an inner space formed inside the frame. The rotating unit is located in the inner space of the frame and is horizontally and rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft to form a rotation path. The electromagnetic units are disposed in the inner space of the frame and are arranged along the rotation path of the rotating unit. The sensor switch units are mounted in the frame and are disposed in the inner space of the frame at identical intervals. When one of the magnetic portions passes the sensor switch units, the sensor switch units sequentially control the electromagnetic units to start or to stop generating magnetic force and rotate the rotating unit.

  • Publication number: 20150340932
Abstract: A gravity-assisted rotating driving apparatus is connected with a horizontal rotating shaft and includes a frame, a pendulum unit, at least one electromagnetic unit, and at least one sensor switch unit. The frame is mounted on the rotating shaft and has an inner space formed inside the frame. The pendulum unit is located in the inner space of the frame and is rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft to form a rotation path. The at least one electromagnetic unit is disposed in the inner space and is arranged along the rotation path. The at least one sensor switch unit is mounted in the frame and is disposed in the inner space. When the pendulum unit passes the adjacent sensor switch unit, the corresponding sensor switch unit controls the corresponding electromagnetic unit to start or stop generating magnetic force and to rotate the pendulum unit.

  • Patent number: 6603467
Abstract: A power up test method and apparatus for a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel are disclosed. A power up test panel is used to perform the power up test on a LCD panel which greatly simplifies the test and reduces cost. The power up test panel includes a plurality of test electrodes formed on a substrate. The plurality of test electrodes corresponds one-on-one to a plurality of input electrodes on the LCD panel. The power up test panel makes electrical communication with a host system circuit which generates driving signals for sending to the power up test panel through a flexible film. During the power up test, the electrodes on the power up test panel and the input electrodes are matched and a pressure is applied for performing the electrical signal communication test of the LCD panel. The method is particularly suitable for the power up test of a high resolution LCD panel which has small pitch distance between input electrodes.

  • Patent number: 6537854
Abstract: A method for bonding an IC chip formed with corrugated, multi-layered bumps to conductive elements on a substrate and devices formed by such method are disclosed. In the method, multi-layered bumps are formed by a cover layer of a conductive metal deposited on a base layer of a compliant material. The exposed bonding surface of the bump is formed in a corrugated fashion, or in a serrated shape with saw-tooth configurations. The saw-tooth configurations may either be rectangular or triangular. In the bonding method, instead of using an anisotropic conductive film loaded with conductive particles, a solid adhesive film without conductive particles or a liquid adhesive material without conductive particles can be utilized. The serrated bonding surface of the bumps is effective in expelling the adhesive material from the bonding interface between the bumps and the conductive elements such that a low resistance bond can be formed between an IC chip and a substrate.

  • Patent number: 6373545
Abstract: A repairable TFT-LCD assembly and a method for fabricating such assembly have been disclosed. In the repairable TFT-LCD assembly, a novel separation tape is utilized between the TFT and the LCD substrate such that when the tape is pulled in a perpendicular direction to the planar surface of the LCD substrate, the TFT can be separated from the assembly without causing damages to the LCD substrate. The separation tape is fabricated of a polymeric based insulating material with a multiplicity of apertures filled with a conductive metal. The back of the separation tape is laminated with a copper film which is patterned corresponding to the pattern of conductive pads provided on the LCD substrate. The present invention is further directed to a method for fabricating the separation tape for use in a repairable TFT-LCD assembly.
