  • Publication number: 20120275127
Abstract: A fixing device includes a casing defining a receiving space and having an open end, and a movable element having a protruding end protruding from the open end. The movable element is movable relative to the casing along a first direction to vary a protruding distance of the protruding end from the open end of the casing. A plurality of first positioning portions are provided on one of the casing and the movable element. The second positioning portion engages interferentially and releasably a selected one of the first positioning portions along a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction to restrict movement of the movable element relative to the casing. An electronic apparatus having the fixing device is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20120205334
Abstract: A modular support device includes a plurality of interconnected inner bases each having an upstanding plate member, first and second slidable connecting members extending respectively on two opposite sides of the upstanding plate member, and two first support members each disposed between one of the first and second slidable connecting members and the upstanding plate member. The first slidable connecting member of one of the inner bases is slidably connectible to the second slidable connecting member of the other inner base to adjust a distance between the upstanding plate members. The first support members of each adjacent pair of the inner bases cooperate with each other for supporting an article thereon. The upstanding plate members of each adjacent pair of the inner bases cooperate with each other to sandwich therebetween the article.

  • Publication number: 20120159750
Abstract: A fixing structure for locking an object having a hook piece is disclosed. The fixing structure includes a rotating element, an elastic element and a base. The rotating element includes a rotating element body, a plurality of bumps, a first containing space, and a second containing space. The first containing space and the second containing space are disposed inside the rotating element body. The second containing space communicates with the first space. The elastic element connects with a bottom of the rotating element. The rotating element and the elastic element are disposed in the base body. The trajectory groove is disposed around the inside of the base body. The rotating element body can rotatively rise or descend such that the hook piece can be in the first containing space or second containing space.

  • Publication number: 20100009014
Abstract: The present invention relates to use of a composition for the manufacture of a medicament and a method for inhibiting the formation of body fat. The composition includes lactoferrin and a trivalent chromium compound. Herein, the chromium compound is selected from the group consisting of chromium (III) chloride hexahydrate, chromium (III) chloride, chromium (III) acetate, chromium (III) sulfate, chromium picolinate, chromium nicotinate, chromium GTF, chromium yeast extract, other inorganic salts of trivalent chromium, other organic salts of trivalent chromium, and combinations thereof. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention can assist in transmitting glucose from cells to muscle tissues and thereby reducing the storage of fat converted from glucose to achieve the purpose of controlling body weight.

  • Publication number: 20090250583
Abstract: A modular support device is adapted to support at least one article, and includes at least one base and two foot bases. The base includes a base body, and two slidable connecting members extending transversely and respectively in opposite directions from two opposite sides of the base body. The two foot bases are provided at the two opposite sides of the base body and are connectible respectively to the two slidable connecting members. Each foot base is slidable along the respective one of the slidable connecting members to adjust a distance with the base body. The foot bases and the base cooperatively support the at least one article. The number of the bases may be varied with the number of the articles without requiring additional foot bases, thereby providing an expansion mechanism. The combined space and width of the modular support device and the article can also be reduced.

  • Patent number: 6920891
Abstract: An exhaust adaptor and method which includes attachment of an exhaust bellow or conduit to a process chamber to facilitate vacuum-induced evacuation of residual toxic gases from the chamber during cleaning and/or maintenance of the chamber. A throttle valve of the chamber is first removed from a throttle valve housing, and one end of the exhaust adaptor is next attached to the throttle valve housing. An exhaust bellow or conduit is attached to the opposite end of the adaptor. As a down flow of air is directed into the open chamber, vacuum pressure is induced in the chamber interior through the exhaust bellow or conduit, the adaptor and the valve housing, respectively. Air disturbances in the chamber interior are thus eliminated, and toxic residual gases generated in the chamber interior are therefore incapable of diffusing to the exterior of the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20050133658
Abstract: A crown-shaped fixture set for a tubular fixture device is described in the present invention, which comprises a pair of crown-shaped fixtures. The crown-shaped fixture is a disc with a crown portion. The center of the disc has an aperture. The crown portion of the fixture is shaped like a conoid. The bottom of the crown portion forms a plurality of positioning slots. Pluralities of tangential grooves corresponding to positioning slots are formed on the crown portion. Thus, the crown portion is capable of positioning and fixing paper tubes of various bore sizes, so that the paper tube can be reused and the contact area between the paper tube and the crown portion can be increased and stabilizes the rotation movement of the paper tube.
