    Abstract: An electronic device with an airflow guiding duct includes a chassis, an airflow guiding duct, and a top cover. The chassis includes a bottom wall and a sidewall perpendicular to the bottom wall. A circuit board is mounted on the bottom wall. A pair of securing members protrudes from a top of the sidewall. The airflow guiding duct includes a top wall and a plurality of securing slots defined in the top wall corresponding to the securing members, for the securing members being lockingly engaging in the securing slots, thereby limiting movement of the airflow guiding duct in directions parallel to the circuit board. The cover is mounted on the chassis and abuts against the top wall of the airflow guiding duct, for limiting movement of the airflow guiding duct in a direction perpendicular to the circuit board.

The motherboard is placed on the securing panel and secured with the chassis. The motherboard includes a plurality of through holes (22) corresponding to the plurality of screw holes of the securing panel and an electronic component (50) located among the through holes. The heat sink with a plurality of fastening bolts (42) placed on the electronic component. The fastening bolts of the heat sink are screwed into the through holes of the motherboard and the screw holes of the securing panel to fasten the securing panel and the heat sink at opposite sides of the motherboard.

The securing post includes a thin shank portion and a thick head portion. The back panel has a first edge and a second edge, and defines a locking hole corresponding to the securing post. The locking hole has an inserting hole and a restricting hole. In assembly, the securing post inserts into the inserting hole of the back panel with the head portion passing through the inserting hole and the shank portion received in the inserting hole. The back panel moves to have the first edge resisting against the first side plate. The shank portion of the securing post moves into the restricting hole to sandwich the back panel between the head portion of the securing post and the second side plate.

The bracket is removably secured to the bottom plate for preventing the fan moving away from the side plate. A plurality of posts (38) protrudes from the bracket for inserting into the through holes of the fan. A pair of positioning tabs (344) extends from the bracket for engaging with the positioning pieces of the bottom plate and a handle with a block formed thereon is formed at the bracket. The block engages with the protrusion of the bottom plate for preventing the positioning tabs detaching from the positioning pieces, and is disengagable therefrom by driving the handle.

The locking piece is slidably attached to the head portion of the bracket with the driven edge crossing the guiding slot and the locking piece inserted in the locking hole of the chassis. The driving post inserts in the guiding slot and resists against the driven edge of the locking piece. The driving post moves in the slot and exerts force on the driven edge of the locking piece to drive the locking piece to slide out of the locking hole.
