  • Patent number: 11990889
Abstract: A bulk acoustic wave resonator and a formation method thereof are provided. The method for forming the bulk acoustic wave resonator includes forming a sacrificial structure on a substrate. A seed layer is formed on the sacrificial structure. A bottom electrode is formed on the seed layer. A piezoelectric layer is formed on the bottom electrode. A top electrode is formed on the piezoelectric layer. The sacrificial structure is removed to form a cavity. The seed layer is etched through the cavity.

  • Patent number: 10022042
Abstract: Systems and methods for imaging ear tissue include: directing illumination radiation to pass through an intact biological structure and be incident on ear tissue that does not include an exogenous fluorophore, at a plurality of locations, the illumination radiation including a plurality of light pulses each having a temporal duration of 500 femtoseconds or less; for each one of the plurality of locations, using a detector to detect radiation emitted from the location that passes through the intact biological structure; and forming an image of the tissue based on the detected radiation at each of the plurality of locations, where the emitted radiation corresponds to endogenous two-photon fluorescence of the tissue.

  • Patent number: 4182756
Abstract: High calorie solutions of low molecular weight glucose polymer mixtures useful for intravenous administration, preferably via a peripheral vein, are disclosed. Methods of preparing the solutions and their preferred rate of infusion at less than 5 mg./min./kg. of patient body weight are also disclosed. The solutions can be isotonic to human blood at 20-50% W/V as the glucose polymer mixtures have an average degree of polymerization ranging from 4 to 10. At the preferred rate of infusion high utilization of the glucose polymers infused occurs in human patients, including diabetics. The utilization can be further enhanced by concomitant injections of insulin. The solutions can be administered concomitantly with amino acids, lipid emulsions, vitamins and electrolytes.

  • Patent number: 3997357
Abstract: In obtaining calcium saccharate from molasses solution, active CaO, in the form of burned lime, hydrated lime or milk of lime, is added to the solution; the mixture is cooled to below 20.degree. C.; a stream of slurry of finely subdivided lime ground in an inert organic liquid carrier is injected into a stream of the aforesaid mixture; the cold combined stream is passed through a motionless static mixer; and the so-mixed combined stream is filtered to remove precipitated calcium saccharate.
