  • Publication number: 20060239031
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device (700) has a liquid crystal panel (701) and a backlight module (70) under the liquid crystal panel for providing light beams to the liquid crystal panel. The backlight module includes at least one light source (720), and a light guide plate (711). The light guide plate has an incident surface (710) for receiving light beams from the at least one light source, an emitting surface (712) adjacent the incident surface, and a bottom surface (713) opposite to the emitting surface, at least one brightness enhancing pattern being provided at the bottom surface. The at least one brightness enhancing pattern has a plurality of brightness enhancing element (714), each of which is an arcuate and generally subtending the at least one light source.

  • Publication number: 20050144498
Abstract: A method and apparatus for tuning over clock is provided. At first, a first time out and a second time out are set up, wherein the first time out is greater than the second time out. Then, the system is restarted to transfer the system from an initial stable state to an over clock state. When the system is unable to stay in the over clock state within the second time out, the system is reset and the setting value of the system at the over clock state is retained. Finally, the system is restarted again with the setting value of the over clock state. When the system is unable to stay on the over clock state within the first time out, the system is restarted with the initial setting value.

  • Publication number: 20030161047
Abstract: An optical apparatus made for either imaging or light-blurring application is disclosed. The optical apparatus has two arrays of one-dimensional optical elements. Each of the two arrays has a number of elongated cylindrical optical elements arrayed consecutively in parallel and spreading along a first extension-profiling direction generally orthogonal to their longitudinal axes. The two arrays are superposed together with their general direction extension profile twisted with respect to each other at a selected angle. The superposition spreads an extended layer of optical system having a number of lens units formed from the superposition. All the lens units are arrayed in a two-dimensional matrix of moire fringe. More than two arrays of one-dimensional optical elements can be used to construct an optical apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4797622
Abstract: A technique which improves the accuracy of determining the circuit element values in a three terminal equivalent circuit is disclosed. The improvement results from the use of at least one ratio wherein the numerator and denominator of each ratio is a different function of at least one measurement of the three terminal equivalent circuit. Each ratio is representative of the true value of one preselected circuit element to another preselected circuit element value. This technique can be used for DC or AC analysis of the equivalent circuit and can be adapted for different sources of measurement errors.
