    Abstract: A lock with a support structure includes a tubular element connected to a handle having a positioning hole and a center hole. The center hole contains a lock set having a rotatable lock core connected to a transmission element. The transmission element has separated first and second sides. A transversally slidable element is installed to the tubular element for receiving a bias pressure of an elastic element, and includes a protruding portion and a bearing portion. The protruding portion can be moved between engaged and non-engaged positions of the positioning hole of the handle. The support structure includes a support portion. If the first side of the transmission element approaches the support portion of the support structure, the bearing portion of the transversally slidable element will approach the second side of the transmission element for limiting the displacement of the transversally slidable element when an external force is applied.

    Abstract: A door lock includes a first driven wheel connected drivenly to a motor and having two resilient driving elements, and a second driven wheel connected drivenly to a rotary handle and the first driven wheel. The second driven wheel has a driven element disposed between and driven by the driving elements so that the second driven wheel moves to a first or second position to place a latch bolt in a latching or unlatching position. When the latch bolt is jammed, the second driven wheel is inoperative. However, as the driving elements are resilient, the first driven wheel can continue its rotation without being obstructed.

    Abstract: A deadbolt lock device includes a housing having an inner case covered by an outer case, and an adaptor connected to the inner case. The inner case has an annular flange projecting inwardly from an open end thereof in a direction toward the adaptor, and an annular rib projecting transversely from the annular flange. The annular rib defines a through hole receiving a key-operated lock unit. The annular rib has an annular edge surrounding the lock unit and extends inclinedly from the juncture of the annular rib and the annular flange to the annular edge along directions inclining toward the open end. The annular rib is inclined with respect to a plane intersecting perpendicularly an axis of the lock case. The inclined annular rib provides an increased resistance to destructive forces.

The lock retainer includes a hollow drum portion, a hollow neck part extending rearwardly from the drum portion and projecting out of a rear opening of the knob shell, a lock-receiving hole formed in the drum portion and aligned with a key hole of the knob shell, a plurality of annularly spaced apart and axially extending ribs that project radially from an outer periphery of the drum portion, and a ring extending around the ribs and having a distal peripheral end extending toward an inner surface of the knob shell.     Abstract: A door lock set including a cylinder lock unit which has a lock shell and a plug is disclosed. The lock shell has an axially extending protrusion which projects outwardly and radially from an outer periphery of the lock shell and which has a plurality of pin holes that receive respective springs and tumbler pins. A cover is disposed over the protrusion to cover the pin holes and is biased outward by the springs. The cover is compressible against the springs to reduce the size of the lock shell so that the lock shell can be inserted easily into a rear shank of a knob of the door lock set for assembly. In a preferred embodiment, the cover has two opposite lateral sides extending over and engaging movably two opposite lateral faces of the protrusion. Methods for assembling and disassembling the door lock set are also disclosed.
