  • Publication number: 20240170225
Abstract: This invention describes a packaging structure for roll-type (wound-type) aluminum conductive polymer capacitor element. Two protective substrates are applied to sandwich a roll-type capacitor element in between with an insulating material surrounding the capacitor element also in between the protective substrates. The protective substrates comprise electrically separated anodic conductive pad and cathodic conductive pad on their surfaces and through holes that pass through the conductive pads. The capacitor element is oriented with its axis perpendicular to the two substrates. The anodic and cathodic leads of the capacitor element pass through the through holes. An anodic external terminal is plated over the anodic conductive pad and a cathodic external terminal is plated over the cathodic conductive pad so that the anodic external terminal is electrically connected to the anodic lead and the cathodic external terminal is electrically connected to the cathodic lead.

  • Publication number: 20030078036
Abstract: A method for automatically installing software by the wireless identification is proposed for a master device and a remote wireless device. The remote wireless device is stored with at least one wireless communication protocol, driver, and application program. The remote wireless device seriatim checks for one available wireless communication protocol for the master device and the remote wireless device, and then the master device sends internal system resource and environment parameters of itself to the remote wireless device for setting control commands and parameters acceptable for the master device and the remote wireless device both. The remote wireless device sends the driver or the application program to the master device for being installed in the master device.

  • Publication number: 20030045236
Abstract: The present invention provides a wireless peripheral with inbuilt drivers of a host computer. The host computer has a wireless transmission module capable of transmitting control information to control the peripheral. The wireless peripheral comprises a wireless transmission module, a central processing unit, a database, and a renewal unit. The wireless transmission module can communicate with the wireless transmission module of the computer. The central processing unit is a control center of the whole peripheral. The database stores one or more driver. The renewal unit can store or record new drivers in the database via the host computer. The drivers will always accompany the peripheral. A host computer is not necessary to install drivers from floppy disks or CDs in order to use peripherals, and the trouble of missing the drivers will not arise; hence operations of peripheral achieve the object of “Plug-and-Play” or “Turn-on-and-Play”.
