    Abstract: A table includes a table top with at least one collapsible leg which includes a top tube, a middle tube and a bottom tube. A connector is connected to the underside of the table top and the top end of the outer tube. An inner threaded rod is connected to a motor which is connected to the connector. An outer threaded rod is movably mounted to outside of the inner threaded rod. A top nut is fixed to the middle tube and threadedly connected to the inner threaded rod. A bottom nut is connected to the bottom tube and threadedly connected to the outer threaded rod. When the motor drives the inner threaded rod, the outer threaded rod is moved relative to the inner threaded rod so that the middle tube moves relative to the top tube, and the bottom tube moves relative to the middle tube.

    Abstract: A reciprocating device applied to a load-bearing member includes a motor, an eccentric wheel, a first pulley disposed on a movable base of the load-bearing member, a first belt, and a recovery mechanism disposed on the movable base. The motor and the eccentric wheel are disposed on a fixed base of the load-bearing member. The eccentric wheel is connected to the motor to be driven to rotate around an eccentric shaft of the eccentric wheel. The first belt surrounds the eccentric wheel and the first pulley. The eccentric wheel is operatively coupled to the first pulley via the first belt. When the eccentric wheel is rotated by the motor, the first pulley and the movable base connected to the first pulley is operatively coupled to the eccentric wheel. The recovery mechanism provides a reverse force to the movable base according to said linkage.

    Abstract: A plate lifting device capable of being applied to a multi-plate equipped apparatus includes a motor, a retractable shaft, a restriction member, and a lifting mechanism disposed on the base. The motor is disposed on a base of the multi-plate equipped apparatus. An end of the retractable shaft is pivotally disposed on the base and is connected to the motor, whereby to be driven by the motor to extend or retract, and another end thereof has a movable member. The restriction member connected to one of the plates of the multi-plate equipped apparatus has a slot capable of being passed through by the movable member. When the motor drives the retractable shaft to extend from an initial state, the movable member is lifted by the lifting mechanism, so that the restriction member and the plate connected to the restriction member, which are moved together with the movable member, are lifted.

    Abstract: A flywheel measuring system includes a base, a flywheel, at least one permanent magnet, a magnetic core, an abutting member fixed on the base, a cantilever arm, and a signal generating apparatus. The flywheel is rotatably disposed on the base and is provided with at least one permanent magnet. The magnetic core is movably disposed on the base and is electromagnetically coupled to the at least one permanent magnet. The cantilever arm is disposed on the base. The signal generating apparatus is disposed on the cantilever arm. When the flywheel rotates, the at least one permanent magnet drives the magnetic core to move, and the magnetic core pushes the cantilever arm to approach the abutting member, so that the signal generating apparatus generates a strain and outputs a signal. The fitness equipment could calculate an output power when a rider pedals the pedal according to the signal.

The strain-detecting module includes a deformation-vulnerable plate connected to one of the pads and a strain gauge attached to the deformation-vulnerable plate to allow the strain gauge to detect a value of deformation of the deformation-vulnerable plate. The control module stops the driving element to stop the exercise module when the value of deformation irregularly changes in a short period of time.

    Abstract: A III-nitride-based light emitting device having a multiple quantum well (MQW) structure and a method for fabricating the device, wherein at least one barrier in the MQW structure is doped with magnesium (Mg). The Mg doping of the barrier is accomplished by introducing a bis(cyclopentadienyl)magnesium (Cp2Mg) flow during growth of the barrier using metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). The barriers of the MQW structure may be undoped, fully Mg-doped or partially Mg-doped. When the barrier is partially Mg-doped, only portions of the barrier are Mg-doped to prevent Mg diffusion into quantum wells of the MQW structure. The Mg-doped barriers preferably are high Al composition AlGaN barriers in nonpolar or semipolar devices.
