  • Publication number: 20140371262
Abstract: It is intended to provide a highly safe, orally administrable preventive and/or therapeutic agent for thrombosis and/or embolism that can be applied to a thrombosis and/or embolism patient with severe renal impairment. The present inventors have found that even for a thrombosis and/or embolism patient with severe renal impairment, use of edoxaban at a dose of 15 mg once a day can effectively prevent thrombosis and/or embolism while avoiding the risk of bleeding. The present inventors have also found that even for a thrombosis and/or embolism patient with severe renal impairment, edoxaban at a dose of 15 mg once a day can effectively prevent thrombosis and/or embolism with safety over a long period.

  • Patent number: 6924656
Abstract: A plurality of semiconductor devices is placed in pockets of a tray with terminal surfaces facing upward. Positions of bump terminals of the semiconductor devices are adjusted relative to the tray. The tray is successively moved such that the bump terminals of the semiconductor devices are successively placed at a testing position. The semiconductor devices are successively tested at the testing position by, for example, contacting test electrodes to the bump terminals.

  • Publication number: 20040249758
Abstract: There is provided a point service system that performs customer information analysis and point management in real time at a low cost, using a cellular phone terminal of a customer. Point management and calculation for the customer information analysis are performed inside the cellular phone terminal of the customer. At a time of purchase, purchase data including at least a customer ID is encrypted and input into the cellular phone terminal, and data updating is performed inside the cellular phone terminal. With this arrangement, a shop does not need to bear a communication cost and the system can be introduced at the low cost. The customer does not need to bear the communication cost, either. Since data management by a server is not always necessary, there is no need to disclose privacy data of the customer. The customer thus can readily take part in the system.

  • Publication number: 20030078882
Abstract: A loyalty program using a smart card enables realtime customer information analysis at a shop. Customer services are improved by conveniently and realtime providing results of analyzing each customer's usage status and tendency. A smart card application program analyzes customer information. Since the smart card has just a limited capacity and calculation capability, the card is incapable of complicated calculation and storing a large amount of log data. To solve this problem, a recurrence formula is used for calculating a value representing the customer's buying habit. There is provided a plurality of parameters needed for the calculation in order to enable determination of loyal customers according to different evaluation criteria such as a score based on the most recent purchase amount or the continuity. In addition, a shop card is used for point management to more economically enable customer information analysis at shops.

  • Patent number: 4194730
Abstract: Molten metal handling vessels e.g. tundishes consist of an outer metal casing, a relatively permanent refractory lining and an inner disposible lining made of a plurality of slabs of refractory heat insulating material. Channels formed in the permanent lining adjacent the joints between the slabs or by rebates in the slabs are filled with refractory material, either preformed shapes or a refractory composition filled in situ. Such refractory material minimizes steel penetration through the joints between the slabs. The refractory material may contain carbonaceous material to enhance this antipenetration property.
