Abstract: A Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switch is provided for a set of user interface devices to share a plurality of computers. The Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switch comprises a network port, a second interface, at least one first interface, a switch device and an Ethernet hub. The network port is arranged to connect to a network. The second interface is arranged to connect the set of user interface devices. The first interface is arranged to connect the computers, and the first interface has a port for connecting a network interface of the computers. The switch device is arranged to route paths between the second interface and the first interface. The Ethernet hub is arranged to connect the network port and the port of the first interface.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hand cryptographic device for keeping a secret code inside confidential and being convenient to be carried about. The hand cryptographic device of the present invention includes an input module, a memory and a user interface. The input module is used for being inputted the secret code and a command of accessing the secret code. The memory stores a control program of the hand cryptographic device and the inputted secret code. The user interface provides the secret code to the user when the user inputs the command of accessing the secret code. The input module may comprise a keypad device for inputting the command of accessing the secret code.

Abstract: A KVM switch system capable of communicating with a selected computer through a single cable is disclosed. Between the computer and the KVM switch system, keyboard/mouse data is transmitted and video data is received through a single cable. The KVM switch system includes a protocol controller, a graphic controller, a switch and a plurality of transceivers. The KVM switch system is coupled to plural computers. The protocol controller transforms keyboard/mouse signals into the keyboard/mouse data in a protocol standard and transforms the video data in the same protocol standard into video signals. The graphic controller receives the video signals from the protocol controller and transmits the video signals to a display. The switch routes the keyboard/mouse data and the video data according to a processor of the KVM switch system.

Abstract: A KVM switch with Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) function is disclosed. The present KVM switch includes a computer interface, a console interface, a network interface circuit, a processor and a memory. The computer interface is capable of connection to at least one computing device having a baseboard management controller (BMC). The console interface is capable of connection to at least one console device. The network interface circuit is capable of connection to the BMC via a network. The processor routes a communication path between the computing device and the console device. The memory stores an IPMI firmware. The processor manages the computing device through the BMC by executing the IPMI firmware, and generates an IPMI menu.

Abstract: A control system for controlling target computers through a portable computer is disclosed. The control system includes a first USB device controller, a second USB device controller, and a third USB device controller. The first USB device controller transmits a first input signal and receives video data. The second USB device controller transmits a second input signal and receives video data. The third USB device controller transmits the video signal coming from the first or the second target computers to the portable computer and receives the first or the second input signals from the portable computer. The portable computer controls the first target computer by the first input signal and controls the second target computer by the second input signal.
