Abstract: A notebook computer that has a document holding function includes an upper cover and a base. The upper cover includes a screen and an image pickup device. The base includes a keyboard and a touchpad. A touchpad chassis is disposed under the touchpad and connected with a bottom surface of the touchpad. A fixing recess is formed in an edge surface of the touchpad chassis for holding the document. A rotatable frame is disposed under the touchpad for overturning the touchpad chassis. As such, a shooting angle is defined between the image pickup device and the document held in the fixing recess.

Abstract: A portable camera having a lens assembly switching mechanism is provided. The portable camera includes a camera main body, a camera module, a slab module and a coupling structure. The camera main body has a camera opening formed in a first surface thereof. The camera module is disposed within the camera main body and includes a lens assembly exposed through the camera opening. The slab module is used for carrying one or more selective lens assemblies with different shooting angles. The coupling structure is disposed between the first surface of camera main body and the camera module. The slab module is movable with respect to the coupling structure while the slab module is parallel with the first surface of the camera main body, so that one of the selective lens assemblies is aligned with the camera opening for providing an adjustable shooting angle.

Abstract: A portable camera device includes a first casing, a second casing and an extendable mechanism. The second casing contains a lens module and has a lower part connected to a first connecting position of the first casing such that the lens module is arranged above the first casing. The extendable mechanism has a rear end with a document holding structure for holding a document and a front end connected to a second connecting position of the first casing via a first pivotal mechanism. The extendable mechanism is selectively folded or unfolded with respect to the first casing when the extendable mechanism is rotated in various directions by adjusting the first pivotal mechanism. A relative spatial correlation between the lens module and the document is adjusted such that the lens module is focused on a selected area of the document for capturing an image of the document.

Abstract: A focus-quality judging method includes the following steps. Firstly, a comparing object including a target area is provided. A reference image pickup device is provided to shoot the comparing object to obtain a standard image including a standard target area image. Then, a first pixel number contained in the standard target area image is counted. The comparing object is shot by a test image pickup device to obtain a test image including a test target area image, wherein the test image has the same resolution as the standard image. Then, a second pixel number contained in the test target area image is counted. The first pixel number contained in the standard target area image is compared with the second pixel number contained in the test target area image. According to the comparing results, it is discriminated whether the test image pickup device performs an accurate focusing operation.

Abstract: A portable document holder for use with an electronic device includes a supporting body, a first retractable mechanism, a holder body and a second retractable mechanism. The first retractable mechanism is connected to the supporting body and movable forwardly or backwardly in a first horizontal direction. The holder body has a bottom pivotally coupled to the supporting body such that the holder body is rotatable in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction and a shooting angle is defined between the holder body and a lens module of the electronic device. The second retractable mechanism includes an extension arm coupled to an upper edge of the holder body and two extension arms disposed at bilateral sides of the holder body. A holding space of the holder body is expanded in a vertical direction and/or a second horizontal direction when the extension arms are extended.
