    Abstract: A power system for driving plural or multiple lamps includes a transformer circuit, a filter and steady-flow circuit, and a light source. The transformer circuit transforms a voltage level of an input AC signal, and includes a first output end for outputting a first AC signal, and a second output end for outputting a second AC signal. The first and second AC signals are opposite in phase. The filter and steady-flow circuit includes a first plurality of filter and steady-flow units connected to the first output end for suppressing harmonic signals of the first AC signal and outputting a plurality of third AC signals. The light source has a first plurality of lamps, each of which having one end connected to one of a respective one of the first plurality of filter and steady-flow units so as to be driven by a respective one of the third AC signals.

    Abstract: A discharge lamp driving device for driving a lamp module (23) including a plurality of lamps includes a switch circuit (21), a transformer and filter circuit (22), and a microcontroller (20). The switch circuit converts a received signal to an alternating current signal. The transformer and filter circuit is connected between the switch circuit and the lamp module, for amplifying and shaping the alternating current signal. The microcontroller connected to the switch circuit for outputting a control signal to control the switch circuit to output the alternating current signal to the lamp module. In the invention, correlative parameters and specifications of the circuit are predetermined via the microcontroller. Therefore, the structure of the whole circuit is simple.

The isolation transformer has a primary winding and at least one secondary winding. The primary winding of the isolation transformer is connected to the power stage circuit, for isolating the received AC signal from the light source module. The inverter circuit is connected to the secondary winding of the isolation transformer, for converting an AC signal output from the isolation transformer to an appropriate signal. The PWM controller is connected to the power stage circuit, for controlling output from the power stage circuit.

In the invention, the dimming mode selecting circuit combines a hysteresis circuit (250) with the compensation circuit, to make the input signal stably and the output signal reliably. The structure of the circuit is simple.

The light source simulating device in the present invention simulates the light source by the resistor and replaces the actual discharge lamps, which have lower cost, smaller test place and higher test reliability of the inverter.
