    Abstract: An induction frame for a dartboard is positioned on the front surface of the dartboard according to predetermined shape and number so as to define a plurality of scoring areas thereon. The induction frame is inductive and has conductive ends that are used to penetrate the dartboard. On the front side of the respective frames is formed guiding surface that is located in the direction in which the dart is tossed. The abovementioned design enables the respective frames to be directly connected to the electronic scoring unit for scoring, thus effectively simplifying the structure, reducing the complexity and cost of the circuit.

    Abstract: An integrating wave sensing and magnetic induction dartboard system comprises: a magnetic induction dartboard, a wave sensing device, and an electronic scoring circuit. The waving sensing device is fixed on the magnetic induction dartboard and is connected to the electronic scoring circuit. When the electronic scoring circuit receives the magnetic signal and the wave signal simultaneously, a score will be created. The abovementioned system still can produce accurate scoring data in the presence of electromagnetic interference. It can determine if the target is missed or not based on the shock or sound caused by dart’ landing.

    Abstract: A unidirectional coil induction system for a dartboard comprises: a plurality of induction loops electrically connected to an electronic scoring circuit and a comparison circuit that are disposed on a dartboard. The dartboard is equally divided into a plurality of scoring areas, each scoring area includes at least one induction loop. All the induction loops wind in the same direction and are positioned in the dartboard. When the dart lands on the dartboard, one of the induction loops will produce a positive induction signal, and a neighboring induction loop will produce a negative induction signal, and then the comparison circuit will inform the electronic scoring circuit to score after determining the induction loop of the scoring area in which the dart lands. Therefore, the present invention can prevent the problem of wrong scoring caused by the dart synchronously cutting several induction loops, and can improve the scoring accuracy.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for magnetizing a dart, comprise the steps of: A. preparing a temporarily magnetizable dart; B. charging the dart with a magnet charger; and C. throwing dart and scoring. Through the abovementioned steps, the magnetizing coil or permanent magnet serves as a magnet charger to magnetize the dart, and the magnetic induction material of the dart will produce a temporary magnetic force. The temporary magnetic force of the dart can cooperate with the magnetic induction scoring dartboard to automatically create a score, and the temporary magnetism will disappear within a predetermined period of time. Therefore, the dart is suitable for use in a formal dart competition, and the user doesn't have to worry about the adverse effect of the magnetic force.

A ballast is retained in the chamber of the dart barrel, and includes two ends each having an engaging member for suspending the ballast in the chamber of the dart barrel, a dart point and a longitudinal flight shaft each includes a threaded coupler for detachably threading with the screw holes of the ends of the dart barrel, and the shaft includes a flight attached to the trailing end. The ballast may be molded within the dart barrel, and the dart barrel may have the screw holes directly formed in the ends for threading with the dart point and the shaft.
