Abstract: A composite material structure provided with a prepreg structure unit with metallic properties, the prepreg structure unit comprising a fiber-reinforced composite layer composed of plural fibrous sheets, and a metal layer composed of plural metallic sheets, wherein the plural fibrous sheets are alternatively laminated with the plural metallic sheets with the same thickness as a conventional prepreg structure unit merely consisting of a laminate of the plural fibrous sheets bonded with a single metal layer, so as to strengthen the overall structural strength to reduce structural damages during mechanical processes which may cause fractured fibers, and to prevent strain arisen from the difference of coefficient of thermal expansion of different materials subject to changes in the surrounding temperature, from loosening or dissociating between the different materials, and beneficial to produce a qualified metallic appearance for a finished product made thereof.

Abstract: The present invention provides a composite structural element and a method of producing the same, which includes taking a tape formed by alternatively laminating composite layers made of a non-isotropic composite material and interlayers made of an isotropic material as a major component of the structural element, molding into a structural element of a fixed shape for use in industry, and optionally, directly drilling holes on the laminate of the composite layers and the interlayers for connection.

Abstract: A carbon fiber prepreg is disclosed. The carbon fiber prepreg, exclusive of any additive scrims, comprises a multiple carbon fiber layers and resin layers in an integral form, characterized in that: for the carbon fiber prepreg at each standard unit of the carbon fiber prepreg (g/m2, indicating a weight percentage of the carbon fiber and the resin in the carbon fiber prepreg), the resin layers and the carbon fiber layers are both of multi-layer in a manner that each resin layer is impregnated with two adjacent carbon fiber layers so that the carbon fiber layers are able to be consolidated firmly for strengthening overall structure of the carbon fiber prepreg.

Abstract: A prepreg element with improved structure comprises at least two layers of filament sheet that are stacked on top of each other, wherein each layer of filament sheet is filled with materials having a linear pattern in a unitary orientation in horizontal plane, and is further coated with resin on its surface; when stacked up, two layers of filament sheet that are adjacent to each other have the linear patterns in different orientations; the at least two layers of filament sheet with different orientations is subsequently processed through coating, yarn expanding and laminating to provide tensile strength in multiple orientations in horizontal plane, and increase the overall structural strength with no extra thickness being added to the material, nor is added to overall appearance of the prepreg element, so as to achieve the improvement of structural strength and toughness without adding extra thickness.
