  • Publication number: 20240128531
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for recycling all types of lithium batteries. First, the lithium battery waste is acid-leached to obtain a solution containing most of metal ions. After filtering, the solution is separated from the remaining solids, and then the obtained solution is subjected to separate precipitation many times. After separately adjusting the pH value of the solution many times, adding precipitants with a high selectivity ratio, and matching with filtration and separation reaction, all ions in the lithium battery waste are sequentially precipitated in forms of iron phosphate (FePO4), aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3), manganese oxide (MnO2), dicobalt trioxide (cobalt oxide, Co2O3), nickel hydroxide (Ni(OH)2), and lithium carbonate (Li2CO3).

  • Publication number: 20240087896
Abstract: Methods of forming line-end extensions and devices having line-end extensions are provided. In some embodiments, a method includes forming a patterned photoresist on a first region of a hard mask layer. A line-end extension region is formed in the hard mask layer. The line-end extension region extends laterally outward from an end of the first region of the hard mask layer. The line-end extension region may be formed by changing a physical property of the hard mask layer at the line-end extension region.

  • Patent number: 6966652
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for adjusting a cooling period according to a current condition of a system. The system includes an electronic device and a cooling device. The system has a predetermined temperature value Tp and a first temperature value T1. In the present invention, a second temperature value T2 is detected. Then, a temperature difference X is obtained by subtracting the second temperature value T2 from the first temperature value T1. The present invention compares the temperature difference X with the predetermined temperature value Tp. When the temperature difference X is greater than the predetermined temperature value Tp, the present invention stops the cooling operation. Otherwise, the present invention calculates a cooling time period K based on the temperature difference X, and proceeds with cooling for cooling time period K.

  • Patent number: 6873929
Abstract: A heat dissipation system used in an electronic device includes a casing, an inlet, an outlet, two thermal sensors, at least one fan, and a microprocessor. The fan is disposed in the casing and configured to guide airflow into the casing through the inlet and out of the casing through the outlet. The two thermal sensors are disposed in the casing and respectively located near the inlet and the outlet to measure a first temperature and a second temperature. The microprocessor has at least one relation table, which is a function of ratio of the second temperature to the first temperature, between the first temperature and speed of the fan. The microprocessor selects one relation table in accordance with the ratio of the second temperature value to the first temperature value to control the speed of the first fan according to the first temperature.

  • Publication number: 20040249285
Abstract: A flexible ultrasonic transducer, comprising a plurality of ultrasonic transducer elements. Each of the ultrasonic transducer elements in turn comprises a base, a membrane and a first and a second electrode. The base is made of soft material, having an upper side and a lower side, with a support set on the upper side. The membrane is able to perform vibrations, having an outer side and an inner side, which is laid on the support. The first electrode is placed on the base and the second electrode placed in the membrane, the first and second electrodes being connected with a voltage source. Manufacturing the flexible ultrasonic transducer requires less steps without increasing cost. By having a flexible shape, emission and reception of ultrasonic waves as well as an effective area are enhanced, with less attenuation of ultrasonic waves, resulting in more effective sensing.

  • Patent number: 6779895
Abstract: A cooling system for an electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a housing and a fan. The housing has an outlet, a stopper fixed on the housing, and an opening next to the stopper. The fan generates a first air flow flowing to the outlet. The stopper retards a portion of the first air flow flowing to the outlet. A second air flow flows into the housing through the opening and mixes with the first air flow to cool the temperature of the first air flow.
