Abstract: A method maintaining an image background by multiple Gaussian models utilized to a device includes the following steps. First, the device captures an image frame having pixels to obtain background information, and then calculates the background information to establish a primary Gaussian model. Next, the device captures continuous image frames in a time period to obtain and calculate graphic information for establishing a secondary Gaussian model, and then repeates the steps to establish multiple secondary Gaussian models. Finally, the device compares two secondary Gaussian models, and then updates learning for the primary Gaussian model by the secondary Gaussian model if the graphic information of the secondary Gaussian models are attributable to the background information, or maintains the background information of the primary Gaussian model without updating the learning if anyone of the graphic information of the two secondary Gaussian models is unattributable to the background information.

Abstract: A system includes an active node and a standby node and zero or more replica nodes. Each of the nodes includes a database system, such as an in-memory database system. Client updates applied to the active node are written through to the standby node, and the standby node writes the updates through to a primary database and updates the replica nodes. Commit ticket numbers tag entries in transaction logs and are used to facilitate recovery if either of the active node or the standby node fails. Updates applied to the primary database are autorefreshed to the active node and written through by the active node to the standby node which propagates the updates to the replica nodes. Bookmarks are used to track updated records of the primary database and are used to facilitate recovery if either of the active node or the standby node fails.

Abstract: A fully transactional mid-tier database system services database transactions. A cache manager dynamically loads database entries from a fully transactional backend-tier database system into the mid-tier database system according to the received database transactions. Time based aging or usage based aging can be assigned to selected tables in the mid-tier database system. Database entries contained in the selected tables are then automatically removed according to assigned aging constraints.

Abstract: The improvement of the pedestal of roller shoes, which is a technique in the field of sports shoes, provides the capability of shock absorption. The improvement of the pedestal includes the following features: the middle part of the joint shelf is mounted to the pedestal, a roller is mounted to the one end; the middle part of the spring steel plate is mounted to the appropriate place of the pedestal, the two ends of it mount to the other ends of the two joint shelves. This new design will absorb the shock imposed on the rollers via the damping of the spring steel plate, and prevent the shock from going to the feet of the user.

The following is its technical blue print: the middle part of the joint shelf joints to the pedestal, a roller is jointed to the one end; the middle part of the spring steel plate joints to the appropriate place of the pedestal, the two ends of it joint to the other ends of the two joint shelves.
