Abstract: A network device and method for updating parameters of the network device provides an object adapting interface. The object adapting interface generates a service access interface and a configuration adapting interface. A management agent of the network device sends a requirement command. If the requirement command is a write command, the configuration adapting interface updates configuration parameters of the management agent stored in a configuration database of the network device. If the requirement command is a read command, the service access interface reads configuration parameters stored in the management agent.

Abstract: A method for data collection using an electronic device operates in a network. The electronic device stores stacks and one of the stacks stores a database and a service agent. The service agent associates objects related to the service agent. The electronic device determines whether the instance identifications associated with the service agent are deleted from a database. If the instance identifications associated with the service agent have been deleted, a Remote Procedure Call protocol command is sent to the service agent. Accordingly, the electronic device can determine the objects detected corresponding to instance identifications stored in the Remote Procedure Call protocol command.

Abstract: A computing device and method for searching for parameters in a data model uses a first hash table to store index values of all parameter names in a data model, and uses a second hash table to store index values of data paths of duplicate parameters names in the data model, and changes the comparison sequence when searching for parameters in the data model. That is, comparing beginning from the last character in the input data string, if a leaf node in the data model matches the last character, then comparing parent nodes of the leaf node with the remaining characters of the input data string. Then, a data path of a parameter having a unique name is located according to the first hash table. Furthermore, data paths of parameters having duplicate names is located according to the second hash table.

Abstract: A device and method for generating a customized webpage creates a root folder that includes a base folder and language folders. The method creates a symbolic link between each of the language folders and the base folder, and analyzes the web address sent from a terminal device to determine which language is required to display a webpage. The method further locates a language folder from the root folder according to the required language, obtains common webpage files from the root folder through the symbolic link, and translates content of the common webpage files into data in the required language. Additionally, the method obtains a customized file from the language folder and storing the customized file and the translated data into a JavaScript file, generates an HTML file according to the JavaScript file, and displays the customized webpage on a browser of the terminal device according to the HTML file.

Abstract: A customer premises equipment (CPE) receives a remote procedure call (RPC) command with at least one search condition from an auto-configuration server (ACS). The at least one search condition includes at least one parameter with at least one parameter value. The CPE searches a data model to find at least one instance ID corresponding to the at least one search condition, and replaces the at least one search condition of the RPC command with the at least one found instance ID. The CPE executes the RPC command with the at least one found instance ID.

Abstract: A mobile phone utilizes a radio frequency (RF) chip transceiving RF signals via a front end circuit. A power detector detects power output from a power amplifier and converts the power to voltage to transmit to a central processing unit (CPU). A base station tester measures output power of the mobile phone and transmits to the CPU in a test mode. A microwave chamber measures power radiated by the antenna in an operation mode. A high voltage circuit provides a high voltage signal continuously. A detection circuit detects a connection status of the base station tester and the testing connector and outputs the high voltage signal to the CPU according to the connection status. The CPU determines an operating mode of the mobile phone based on output of the detection circuit, and outputs a maximum output power according to the test mode and operation mode maximum output power calibration tables.

Abstract: Lidar point clouds and multi-spectral aerial images are integrated for change detection of building models. This reduces errors owing to ground areas and vegetation areas. Manifold change types are detected with low cost, low inaccuracy and high efficiency.

Abstract: A network device (100) includes a backplane (30), at least one line card (20) and a control card module (10). The control card module includes a first control card (12) and a second control card (14). The first control card or second control card is designated as an active control card, and the other as a standby control card. The active control card executes at least one application to communicate with other network devices. In addition, the application synchronizes the active control card with the standby control card by when status of one of the line cards changes. Upon detection of active control card failure, the standby control card transmits a switchover message to the line cards to implement registration of the standby control card as the active control card and transmits corresponding configurations to the line cards.

Abstract: A system for loading images includes a read-only memory (ROM) (160) for storing the images; an initialization module (110) for initializing a running environment of the system, and for starting up a procedure for automatically loading the images; an image-searching module (130) for searching the images in the ROM; an image-validating module (140) for validating the images that are found by the image-searching module; an image-loading module (150) for loading valid images to a memory of a network device. A related data backup method comprises: checking whether there is a card ID in the media card; checking whether there is a subfolder in a data folder if there is a card ID in the media card; determining whether the entire data of the media card are in the subfolder, if there is a subfolder in the data folder; copying the data; and examining whether the copying is completed.

Abstract: Roughly described, a silicon layer transitions from polysilicon at one surface to amorphous silicon at the opposite surface. The transition can be monotonic, and can be either continuous or it can change abruptly from polysilicon to amorphous silicon. If such a layer is formed as the floating gate of a floating gate transistor structure, the larger grain structure adjacent to the tunnel dielectric layer reduces the formation of a tip (protrusion) and thus reduces leakage. On the other hand, the smaller grain structure adjacent to the gate dielectric layer produces a smooth, more uniform gate dielectric layer. The polysilicon-to-amorphous silicon transistor can be fabricated with a temperature profile that favors polysilicon formation at the start of floating gate deposition, and transitions during deposition to a temperature that favors amorphous silicon deposition at the end of floating gate deposition.

Abstract: In a method for wafer surface cleaning using hydroxyl radicals in deionized water prior to a growth of gate oxide or tunneling oxide in a semiconductor process, DI water containing hydroxyl radicals is applied to the wafer surface to remove the contaminants therefrom, specifically for metallic particles, in association with a chemical solution process applied to the wafer surface prior thereto or thereafter, and preferably, another application of DI water containing hydroxyl radicals to the wafer surface is practiced with the chemical solution process between the two steps of application of DI water containing hydroxyl radicals to the wafer surface.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device that includes providing a wafer substrate, providing an insulator over the wafer substrate; depositing a first layer over the insulator, forming a layer of dielectric material over the first silicon layer, depositing a second silicon layer over the layer of dielectric material, providing a photoresist layer over the second silicon layer, patterning and defining the photoresist layer, etching the second silicon layer, the layer of dielectric material, the first silicon layer and the insulator unmasked by the photoresist, removing the photoresist layer, and cleaning at least the etched first silicon layer with a mixture of deionized water and ozone gas.

Abstract: A method for fabricating N-type doped polycrystalline silicon. A reactive gas source is introduced into a gas deposition reaction chamber and a chemical vapor deposition process is performed to form an N-type doped polycrystalline film.

Abstract: In a liquid filled display stand, an upright transparent hollow member is mounted on a top end wall of a hollow base, and confines a water-tight inner space that is adapted to be filled with a liquid body. A nozzle set, which includes a plurality of tubular needles, is mounted on the top end wall of the hollow base. Each of the needles extends into the inner space, and has inlet and outlet ends. The outlet end is disposed above a bottom end of the hollow member. An air source is disposed in the hollow base, is coupled to the inlet ends of the needles, and is operable so as to supply air bubbles into the liquid body in the inner space via the outlet ends of the needles.
