  • Publication number: 20090219683
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a notebook computer has, on the side surface of the device main body, a pin jack to receive a rod antenna. The rod antenna has a pin plug to be inserted in the pin jack and is rotatable when attached. The rod antenna is made of a flexibly bendable material. This prevents the rod antenna or its connection portion from being broken when a hand accidentally contacts it.

  • Publication number: 20070166019
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a main unit having a palm rest portion, a display unit, and an illumination device. The display unit is rotatable between a first state in which the display unit is closed with respect to the main unit, and a second state in which the display unit is opened with respect to the main unit. The illumination device is located opposite the display unit in the second state, with the palm rest portion interposed therebetween.

  • Patent number: 6407921
Abstract: A cooling unit having a heat-receiving portion and a heat-exchanging portion. The heat-receiving portion is thermally connected to a heat-generating component. The heat-exchanging portion receives heat from the heat-receiving portion, at a position different from the position where the heat-generating component is provided. A part of the heat generated by the heat-generating component and transmitted to the heat-receiving portion is transferred to the heat-exchanging portion through a heat pipe. A fan device is provided between the heat-receiving portion and the heat-exchanging portion.

  • Publication number: 20020053878
Abstract: A vehicle lamp has light sources having light emitting diodes that are vertically and horizontally disposed in the form of a square. A first LED group is disposed in the central position of the light source and is turned on in the tail lamp lighting mode. A second LED group surrounds the first LED group, and is turned on together with the first LED group in the stop lamp lighting mode. Thus, the light source appears as if the LEDs became luminous around the central position of the light source in any lamp lighting mode.
