  • Patent number: 7505031
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a monitor display control apparatus and a monitor display control method, in which ease of operation of scrolling a map image can be improved with an intention of an operator being reflected at the time of scrolling the map image. A value RV corresponding to the square of a distance up to a current position centering on a reference position is operated on the basis of output voltages of potentiometers detecting a tilted position of an operating rod. In a control unit, a scrolling speed and a scale factor of the map image displayed on a display screen of a monitor television are varied in accordance with a signal UP including information on an amount of displacement of the operating rod from the reference position.

  • Patent number: 7292228
Abstract: A screen operating device having good operability is obtained. When a push switch is pressed via a sheet switch within a predetermined time from a finger touching the sheet switch, a click signal is received within a predetermined time from receipt of a touch signal. After receipt of this touch signal, if a click signal is received within a predetermined time, buttons other than a predetermined selection button 32 are not displayed on a screen of a monitor device 26, and processing corresponding to a label displayed on the selection button 32 is carried out. In this way, a specific processing, such as a processing having a high frequency of use or the like, can be carried out rapidly.

  • Patent number: 7176899
Abstract: In a state in which any one of selection buttons is selected (state in which a color is reversed), a touch panel in a controller is operated, and, the selected state of the selection button is released when an operation signal from the above controller is corresponding to a moving trajectory from a gray zone to another gray zone through a cancellation zone. Thereby, unnatural feeling at operation caused by distance between a finger position on the touch panel of the controller and a position of the selection button in the selected state is reduced or eliminated.

  • Patent number: 7177741
Abstract: A car-mounted device control system is obtained which can prevent or lessen erroneous operation of operating portions, switches, and the like during rotation of a steering wheel. When a CPU 16 starts up a function switching program from a storage medium 24 on the basis of an inputted touch signal, a present center control unit 10 compares a comparative rotational position R0 read from the storage medium 24 and a rotational position detection signal R from a steering angle sensor 32. As a result, when the rotational position detection signal R exceeds the comparative rotational position R0, a touch signal and a click signal are cancelled. Thus, inadvertent switching of functions due to a body touching a controller 70 while a steering wheel 22 is rotated can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7129933
Abstract: A touch-operation guide shape is formed on an input pad for inputting a touch operation by variably deforming the surface of the input pad, forming grooves or the like to enable a user to recognize the operation position on the input pad through finger touch. In addition, an image representing the touch-operation guide shape is displayed on a menu frame of a display together with selection items, whereby the corresponding position on the input pad can be recognized on the screen of the display.

  • Patent number: 7010756
Abstract: A display operating system which can freely set numbers of rows and columns in an arrangement of selection buttons displayed on a monitoring screen with immediate selection of a desired selection button being made possible. A position corresponding to that of a fingertip interrupting two of a plurality of light beams projected in a lattice on a panel of a controller at an intersection thereof is set as a first-touch position, on the basis of which an active area is established. This makes, of a plurality of selection buttons, selection buttons in the active area become selectable. Further, when the active area is changed by changing the first-touch position with a change in fingertip position to change light beams that are interrupted, selection buttons in the changed active area become selectable.

  • Patent number: 6882267
Abstract: A device controller is provided which allows a vehicle occupant to confirm a device to be operated without looking an operation section. When a controller of a microswitch indicates a device such as a window regulator or a sun roof, a control circuit feeds a motion confirmation signal to a corresponding device such as a right-hand front door ECU and a roof ECU. A door glass, a sliding roof or the like then reciprocate slightly (i.e., in an amount that is enough for the vehicle occupant to visually confirm the reciprocation) via a window regulator driving circuit, a sun roof driving circuit or the like. The vehicle occupant can thereby confirm a device to be operated by the operation section without looking an operation section.

  • Patent number: 6779645
Abstract: A transmission control device of a vehicle has a shifting body and detects the operating state of the shifting body. The transmission control device shifts the connecting state of the transmission based on the detection result. A parking lock state releasing apparatus for the vehicle includes a releasing switch, which is located in a passenger compartment. An ignition drive device generates gas by causing ignition in response to operation of the releasing switch. The parking lock state of the transmission is changed to the release state using the pressure of the gas.

  • Patent number: 6707379
Abstract: A shift device that enables optimally operation. The shift device is provided in a vehicle including a transmission and shifts a shift range of the transmission. The shift device includes a shift operation unit, a controller, and a light emitting device. The shift operation unit is connected to the transmission of the vehicle and shifts the shift range of the transmission. The controller determines whether the shift range of the transmission should be shifted in accordance with a driving environment and generates a shift instruction signal when determining that the shift range of the transmission should be shifted. The light emitting device gives a notification for operation of the shift operation unit in accordance with the shift instruction signal.

  • Patent number: 6707448
Abstract: The present invention provides a touch control position determining method which allows the touch control position to be determined precisely regardless of the modes of control. When a touch control is made on an input pad, it is confirmed whether or not the upper and lower vertical position detecting lines are in the non-detected state in which infrared rays are not intercepted to determine whether the touch control position is located at the upper side, the center or the lower side (Steps 100 through 112). Next, it is confirmed whether or not the right and next horizontal position detecting lines are in the non-detected state to determine whether the touch control position along the horizontal direction is located at the left side, the center or the right side (Steps 114 through 122). Thus, the touch control position in the vertical and horizontal directions is determined and the determination result is outputted (Step 124).

  • Patent number: 6699155
Abstract: A vehicle transmission controller controls switching of the gear position of a transmission. The controller has a shift lever and an actuator. The shift lever is manipulated to select a gear position of the transmission. The actuator actuates the transmission to switch the gear position in accordance with a manipulation of the manipulator. The actuator switches the transmission to the gear position selected by the manipulator. The actuator switches the transmission to a predetermined gear position from the gear position selected by the manipulator when the vehicle satisfies predetermined conditions.
