Patent number: 11914941Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are described herein for integrated circuit (IC) layout validation. A plurality of IC patterns are collected which include a first set of patterns capable of being manufactured and a second set of patterns incapable of being manufactured. A machine learning model is trained using the plurality of IC patterns. The machine learning model generates a prediction model for validating IC layouts. The prediction model receives data including a set of test patterns comprising scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of IC patterns. Design violations associated with an IC layout are determined based on the SEM images and the plurality of IC patterns. A summary of the design violations is provided for further characterization of the IC layout.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company LimitedInventors: Rachid Salik, Chin-Chang Hsu, Cheng-Chi Wu, Chien-Wen Chen, Wen-Ju Yang

Patent number: 9194777Abstract: A filter test strip to filter and test a specimen in liquid includes a test element and a specimen filter assembly which is located on the test element and includes a filter cotton holding layer, a filter cotton layer and a cotton bonding layer. The filter cotton holding layer has a filter channel to allow the specimen in liquid to pass through. The filter cotton layer fills the filter channel. A gap is formed between the filter cotton holding layer and filter cotton layer. The cotton bonding layer is located below the filter cotton holding layer and bonded to the test element via an adhesive which masks the gap. Hence the specimen in liquid can be prevented from seeping out through the gap with passing through the filter cotton layer. Therefore, the specimen in liquid can fully be filtered by the filter cotton layer to enhance test accuracy.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2013Date of Patent: November 24, 2015Assignee: BIOPTIK TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Ya-Yuan Chang, Chin-Shan Lai, Chin-Chang Yang, Kun-Lieh Wu

Publication number: 20140216918Abstract: This invention discloses a method for fabricating a gold/titanium dioxide core-shell structured photocatalyst and the application thereof to photocatalytic decomposition of organic compounds under ultraviolet irradiation. The method comprises steps: fabricating a solution of gold ions; fabricating gold/titanium dioxide core-shell structured nanoparticles; and crystallizing the gold/titanium dioxide core-shell structured nanoparticles, wherein gold and titanium dioxide are mixed by a weight ratio of 0.005 to 0.03. The gold/titanium dioxide core-shell structured photocatalyst can effectively decompose organic compounds and dyes under ultraviolet irradiation.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2013Publication date: August 7, 2014Applicant: BIOPTIK TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Chin-Chang YANG, YU-WEN CHEN, YAO-JEN TU, Jia-Long Jiang

Publication number: 20140031636Abstract: An electrochemical and optical test specimen includes an electrochemical test portion and an optical test portion. The electrochemical test portion has an electrochemical blood sampling port. The optical test portion has an optical blood sampling port. The electrochemical test portion and optical test portion abut each other, and the electrochemical blood sampling port and optical blood sampling port are located on the same side. Thus one blood sampling operation at the electrochemical blood sampling port and optical blood sampling port can be finished simultaneously to perform electrochemical test and optical test at the same time. Therefore the advantages of the electrochemical and optical tests can be integrated to achieve higher accuracy and lower cost to meet test requirements.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2012Publication date: January 30, 2014Inventors: Kun-Lieh WU, Chin-Chang Yang

Publication number: 20130048530Abstract: A disposal apparatus for biosensor includes a coupling member and a capsular wrapper. The capsular wrapper includes a space having a closed end and an open end to hold a biosensor. The coupling member has a coupling portion connecting to the closed end and a test strip adapter with two ends respectively formed a test strip insertion end and a test strip extended slot. The test strip insertion end passes through the slot and inserts into a test strip loading port of the biosensor. The capsular wrapper encases the biosensor to allow the test strip insertion end to insert into the test strip loading port. Through coupling of the test strip adapter, the biosensor can perform testing. After the testing is finished, the coupling member and the test strip can be wrapped together by the capsular wrapper and be discarded, thus avoiding user being contaminating with samples on the test strip.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Inventors: Chin-Chang Yang, Chin-Shan Lai, Kun-Lieh Wu, Yu-Lun Huang, Shiang-Chun Liu, Tien-Wei Liu
