  • Publication number: 20120227010
Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch-sensitive display; a storing module, an accessing module, a display controller, a sensing module, and a file operating module. The accessing module obtains a folder representative icon from the storage module. The display controller displays the folder representative icon on the touch-sensitive display. The sensing module detects a first slide operation along a first direction on the folder representative icon. The file operating module spreads out a first display window, along the first direction from a side of the folder representative icon to display the sub-folder representative icon. The sensing module further detects a second slide operation on the sub-folder representative icon. The file operating module further spreads out the second display window, along a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, from a side of the sub-folder representative icon.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display, a storing module, an accessing module, a displaying controller, a sensing module, and a file operating module. The storing module stores a folder and a plurality of files. The folder is displayed as a folder representative icon on the touch-sensitive display. Each file is displayed as a file representative icon on a display window. The accessing module obtains the folder representative icon. The displaying controller displays the folder representative icon on the display. The sensing module detects a slide operation along a first direction on the touch sensitive display by a finger/stylus on the folder representative icon. The file operating module outspreads the displaying window, along a first direction corresponding to the slide operation from a side of the folder to display the file representative icon when the slide operation is detected.

  • Publication number: 20120206480
Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch screen, a processor, a storage device, and one or more modules stored in the storage device. The one or more modules are executed by the processor to display a first area of a drawing on the touch screen. When the first area receives a drawing operation, the one or more modules detect a contact path on the first area of the touch screen. Then, the one or more modules split a first sub-area with first content in the first sub-area from the first area along the contact path upon a condition determining the contact path substantially moves across a first edge and a second edge of the first area.
