    Abstract: A medical clamping instrument includes first and second tubular members pivotally connected together, a first rod member pivotally connected to the second tubular member, a second rod member pivotally connected to the first rod member, first and second claw arms respectively providing first and second clamping portions and first and second connecting portions and respectively pivotally connected to the second tubular member, third and fourth rod members respectively pivotally connected to the first and second connecting portions, a screw nut pivotally connected to the third and fourth rod members, a screw rod threaded into the screw nut and driven by a driving rod via the first universal joint, the fifth rod member and the second universal joint. Thus, operating the driving rod can move the first and second clamping portions, maintaining the clamping force stably.

    Abstract: An auxiliary device for muscle strength training is provided, which includes: a base; a sliding member slidingly coupled to the base; and a connecting-rod mechanism connected to the base and the sliding member in such a way that a positional shift of the sliding member allows the connecting-rod mechanism to rotate relative to the base and change its state. As such, the auxiliary device has first and second configurations to assist patients who are incapable of controlling their muscles by themselves to effectively train specific muscle groups. Further, elastic members are connected to the base and the connecting-rod mechanism and provide elastic potential energies so as to keep the auxiliary device in static equilibrium. The auxiliary device has a simple structure and is easily manufactured at a low cost and applicable for patients with muscle strength lower than grade 3.

    Abstract: A display lifting device includes: a body; an adjusting unit having big and small wheels coaxially disposed on the body, a shaft fixed to the body, and a rock arm pivotally fixed to the shaft and having first and second arms; a spring having one end fixed to the body; a first rope member wound on the small wheel and having two ends connected to the first arm and the other end of the spring, respectively; and a second rope member wound on the small and big wheels and having one end connected to the second arm, and a sliding unit for carrying a display such that the display is movable between a first position and a second position. Since the sum of torques produced on the first and second arms is kept equal to zero, the display can stop at any position between the first and second positions.
